What’s more enjoyable than a family that finds fun in everything, no matter what the topic?! A family that has known my family for as long as I can remember! A session that went from serious poses to throwing leaves at one another and becoming lifestyle is one of my favorite things! We had a slightly windy Saturday, but in true farm life fashion, we rolled with the punches and made the wind work in our favor, if ya can’t beat it, join it! Meet Miss Zoey! At just over a year and a half this cutie is on the move! She very rarely sat still, unless it involved watching the cattle! I got to spend my Friday night with this creative and wonderful young lady! She just turned twelve and we celebrated with taking pictures! Graicey and I took off for a place close to her house and spent the rest of the evening catching up, trying new things, and laughing! Thanks for a fun night Graicey!

I have a very special place in my heart for farm kids, 4-Hers & FFA members especially! Growing up one myself, I know the responsibilities they have and what it means to be a part of organizations deeply rooted in pride and tradition and being a part of family farms. I got to spend a great Wednesday evening with the gorgeous Bre! A senior involved in basketball, volleyball, and a whole hearted country girl who loves her t-shirts and jeans! A girl after my own heart, lol! Congrats Bre and best of luck this next year!

I love this family and feel so lucky to know this amazing couple! We all came prepared for any kind of weather, but the sky stayed dry, it got a little chilly, and Mila was a trooper! Little Mila has grown so much since we did her newborn pics three months ago and she just keeps getting cuter! The love that this Mommy and Daddy have for their little one just radiates from them in everything they do, she got so many kisses during the session that you could just see her say, “Really mom and dad, what are you doing?” Can’t wait to continue capturing this family and Mila in the future! I was honored to be asked to photograph my high school’s first ever Alumni Band! I was originally unable to march with them due to work, but when my schedule happened to change, I was honored to be asked to capture this fantastic evening! It was an night full of sharing memories, laughter, the alumni getting to know the current band members, the return of two legendary AHS Marching Band directors, and lots of emotions! To some this may look like just any other band, but to those of us whom were lucky enough to march under the direction of Mr. Ehrman and Mr. Hoverman, there is a tradition that exists far deeper than the eye can see! Congrats to everyone involved on a great evening and looking forward to next year when I can march along with all of you!

Couldn’t have asked for a better golden hour session than with this great mother daughter duo! Fresh after a rain with shimmering grass, a little mud thrown in, lol, and some sweet smiles! So much energy and fun, it was hard to pick just a few to share! Such a connection between mother and daughter that it was warm as the sun was that evening! I am on cuteness overload with this little guy!  Trying to pick just a few sneak peaks from his session was almost impossible!  We did his big brother’s back to school pics just a few weeks ago and I was thrilled when his mom asked me to do a three year old mini for her youngest.  She said he loved tractors, so what better place to go than the farm! I loved watching his investigating of everything he could find, he is such a sweet guy!  He was rocking his shades and that incredible smile!  Enjoy this young man!

I met Jake, Erinn, Derek, & Ashley last fall for their family session and we had a great time! I was so excited when Erinn contacted me to do 2014 fall family pics! We were also able to combine Wanda & Kenny’s mini shoot that they won in the contest back in August into the same session, so it was perfect! We woke up to a very chilly Saturday morning after a rainy Friday, so we had to change plans just a little and bundle up a bit more 🙂 Starting out at Sauder Village was a great idea, the colors are just now turning in the trees and a great crisp feel was in the air.  But after a few great outdoor shots and to keep the little ones warm we headed over to the Sauder Heritage Inn for a second set of pics in their gorgeous settings! Thank you Wyse Family for a wonderful Saturday morning!!!
