Cool mornings are here and the fields are just starting to change color, fall is quickly approaching and our senior schedule is full! We had the pleasure of spending part of our weekend with Tyson in Grand Rapids, Ohio last weekend and it was a beautiful evening. He has such a handsome smile and kind personality, it was a joy to capture this moment for his family! Tyson was even on the lookout for great spots, we love when our seniors incorporate their ideas into the session, it makes it that much more personalized! Towards the end he was even reading our minds with what we would want him to do! Thank you for a great evening, we hope you have a great senior year and best of luck next fall!!

| Rusty Short AHS 2022 Senior |

Our local schools are back in session, that means seniors are in full swing, and Rusty helped to kick off our fall season with a one of a kind session! We started by meeting this wrestler at the athletic complex and then headed fishing, our first senior to take us fishing! After a small hike down a rocky slope in warm, humid temperatures, and a couple casts later, the avid fisherman caught his first fish in this particular spot. As the sun began to set and the mosquitoes arrived, a storm started rolling in as we wrapped up our last set. Congratulations Rusty and thank you for a exciting evening, best of luck in your senior year!

Many don’t realize that not only do we love to do graphic design, but we also enjoy taking those designs and appling them to your vehicles! With 15 years of graphic application experience, we are ready to outfit your vehicle! Working with fellow local small businesses is one of the most important things to our business! We love getting out in the field and applying vinyls!

Short Electric had already created a straight forward and easy to read logo in vector art, so we took that logo, measured their vans, added some more text, and we were ready to apply! They were looking for something that would be easy to read as they drove down the road, not wanting to put too much on the panels, but still making sure fellow divers knew who they were. We are lucky to have several electricians in our area and are glad to have added Short Electric to that list! As they grow we will be ready to outfit their next vehicle with whatever design they come up with! Thank you Short Electric for trusting us to apply the graphics to your vehicles!

2021 is the year of extended family sessions! So many families didn’t get together last year due to the pandemic, so they have decided to make up for it this year with photo sessions and we couldn’t love it more! Capturing all these amazing people this summer and fall is going to be such fun, so many smiles and hugs all around. The Reynolds Family brought so much life to their session that it was contagious! With a sweet new little one to the antics from the adults, it was a wonderful afternoon! They battled a windy day, but that didn’t stop the smiles and love that abounded from them all. It has been a few years since we captured this sweet family, the kids are a little taller now, some even close to or surpassing them! Thank you Reynolds Family for a great day!

Here in Northwest Ohio the area is full of farmland, from cattle and pigs, to corn, beans, wheat. Farming runs deep in many families, including ours, with the next generation already learn the rains. Last weekend I was honored to have spent some time with the Crossgrove Family, a family we have been lucky enough to have known through school, farming, and fair for many years! They had gathered to celebrate their parent’s 50th Anniversary and topped the day off with an extended family session! It’s wonderful to capture a large group and be able to break down into individual families and capture their personalities. So many great images from their session and it was great to catch up with everyone, thank you Crossgrove Family for a wonderful evening and Happy 50th!

The first year of a little one’s life flies by so fast, we blink and they are no longer infants, but crawling and then quickly walking. It seems like just a few weeks ago we captured Jace at three months, but last weekend he was in studio with his sweet smile for his six month milestone! Such a peanut and looking more and more like his big brother with each session. He gave us lots of smiles and even snuggled into big brother Jensen for a quick picture before we wrapped for the day. The next three months will go by fast and Jace will be back for his 9 month session! Thank you Jace and Jenson for a fun afternoon!

It’s that time of year again when our local movie theater is hosting a Free Family Film Festival! With the uncertainty of last year, many of our normal activities were cancelled or postponed, so the festival wasn’t able to be held, but this year they are back and ready for families to kick back and enjoy the family time that so many didn’t get to enjoy last year! We have loved getting to work with Skye Cinema over the years in creating their posters and look forward to seeing what films they will be showing next year! Take a break from the heat and head out for a great family movie!

Say hello to little Jace! He and big brother Jensen stopped in for his 3 month milestone session last weekend and what a little man he is! Jace loves to have his hands up and is ready to hit the fields with his dad, though he may have to change his shirt, lol. 😉 We were even able to get some smiles from Jensen and Jace at the same time, just look at these handsome boys! What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and we are looking forward to Jace’s 6 month session already!

As we start to return to normal after a year of so many changes, we were honored to be able to spend last Sunday with Matt & Allie as they said “I Do” in a very quaint and beautiful ceremony of close family and friends! Matt’s love for Allie radiated during their bridal portraits and Allie’s smile was contagious and never ending when Matt arrived! He even brought her bouquet to their first look for her and it was absolutely stunning! We were lucky to have a beautiful spring day for outdoor photos, a little wind, but that didn’t stop Allie from smiling! After their ceremony guests enjoyed gorgeous and delicious cupcakes and yummy appetizers. It was a wonderful day for a sweet couple! Thank you Matt & Allie, wishing you all the best!

| Graicen Siler DHS Senior 2021, Winter Session |

This winter we have had more snow than in previous years and the fields around us have looked so nice with their blanket of white! Graicen had mentioned wanting to do a snow session for part of her senior photos and we were lucky to have a beautiful weekend of snow, sunshine, and mild temperatures; so we headed out to the woods for some fun in the freshly fallen powder! She once again rocked her session, there is nothing we can’t do that she doesn’t make look amazing. Thank you Graicen for the honor of capturing your senior year, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
