Getting to collaborate and work with other small businesses is a wonderful thing!  I enjoy being able to refer other great companies to my clients and Forever Held is one of my favorites!  Forever Held does a fabulous job with wedding planning, consulting, and Day-of Services.  I can speak from experience to the Day of Services, as Forever Held helped to take the burden off of my own wedding day, allowing us to enjoy our day, and made sure everyone and everything went smoothly!  For some upcoming bridal shows that Forever Held will be exhibiting at, we created some 8.25″x3.75″, two sided, glossy informational handouts to go along with business cards we had previously created.  If you are looking for a great wedding planning, consulting, and day-of business, check out Forever Held!

I enjoy working on all types of graphics projects, but the ones for family always seem a little sweeter.  These business cards were created for my sister!  The last couple years my family has been using Young Living Essential Oils and we have loved how they have benefited our lives!  They have been a great addition to our overall wellness.  Shonda was looking for a unique look to share her love of oils with others and after sitting down together, we came up with these!  Simple and clear yet with an artistic flare.  If anyone is interested in experiencing all the Young Living Essential Oils have to offer, please contact her or I and we would be happy to share our stories with you!

On April 1, 2017 Kyle & Taylor will be tying the knot, no fooling!!!  Getting to create wedding invitations is one of my favorite things to do, taking the brides vision of what she would like to share with her guests and bringing it to life!  Knowing that not only will the couple’s guests see them, but they will be saving one to remind them of their special day!  Kyle was looking for a simple and elegant design that captured their unique style.  With April just around the corner, it’s sure to be a beautiful spring wedding!  Congrats Kyle & Taylor!

This little beauty started off our year last year with her newborn session and she is kicking off 2017 with her one year session!  It’s amazing how much little ones change in just twelve months!  She has such a sweet personality, quite, and talkative all rolled into one.  She climbed right into a small crate we had sitting off to the side and we instantly new that was something she was ready to pose in!  The pearl necklaces have become a family tradition, using them with big sister Alexis’ newborn and one year sessions as well.  We had a great time with this cutie, love her smile and those gorgeous blue eyes!  Happy 1st Birthday Emma!

As 2017 is now well underway, there are still many new things coming for SSRM this year!  Next up is the brand new “Share the Love” referral program!  I have been lucky to work with so many amazing people the last several years that I wanted to be able to give back to them for continuing to allow me to capture their family, seniors, kids, & weddings!  Not only will they receive a great gift of a credit for their next session, but the family or friends they refer will also receive a discount on their session!  There is no limit to the number of referrals one can make or the number of credits you can earn towards a future session.  Let’s “Share the Love” and make 2017 another wonderful year!!!

Today is the day!  This beautiful couple will be tying the not in just a couple of hours!  For their ceremony programs we took fonts from their invitations, sized at 4.25″ w x 11″ h, one side showing their bridal party, and the other their ceremony and thank yous.  What a crisp, cool winter day for the new Mr. & Mrs. Held to celebrate their new life together and to ring in the New Year!  Congratulations Brittany & Deiter!

This last November marked five years since I founded SSRM Designs & Photography!  I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that I have gotten the chance to work with, from photo sessions and weddings to invitations, graphics, and logo design, what a fun and wonderful journey it has been!  With this exciting milestone has also come a new logo!  After several months of brainstorming and designing in between client projects, I am proud to reveal the new look of SSRM!

While the above will be the main logo, you will also see the following throughout.  The first one you will notice as the new watermark logo, the second will appear more on graphic design projects along with the main logo, and the third on the web and in documents, such as the print & product guide and pricing guide.

This new year will also bring some fun new changes to SSRM!  Offering more with each new session, more fun print products to chose from, a themed mini session in the fall, and even more great promotional items and garments for you to chose from!

2017 Photo Session and Wedding Bookings are currently underway and graphics projects of all kinds are welcome any time!  Thank you all again for a wonderful five years, here’s to the next five!

| Sell Family Christmas Cards 2016 |

With just over a week until Christmas, there is still plenty of time to get Christmas cards ordered and out for the Holidays!  This week we finished up the Sell Family’s cards; we incorporated five of their favorite images on a custom 5×7 two sided card stock layout!  The red background was pulled from Amanda’s scarf and the gold text was a color in the corn; with a touch of snow, we turned these gorgeous fall shots in to a great Christmas card!  Wishing this amazing family a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

It doesn’t seem like it was three months ago already that we captured the Hoffman family!  Some know exactly what they want their cards to look like, while others want me to take the creative reigns; the Hoffman Family did just that!  I like to give clients a couple of options to choose from, and sometimes they just can’t decide which they like best and decide to split their quantity between the two layouts; that’s exactly what happened with these fun layouts!  The family couldn’t choose just one, so opted for both!  It makes me happy knowing that they loved them both and wanted to share both designs with their friends and family!  Merry Christmas Hoffman Family!

Just a few short weeks ago we were out enjoying the nice weather and capturing these gorgeous kids!  Now that the weather has turned cooler, it’s time for their Christmas card!  Their sessions were so much fun, their personalities shined through in their pictures, and their smiles will bring their card recipients joy for the new year!  Happy Holidays to this amazing family!
