As many of us are starting to think towards the Holidays, the Shirkey & Held Families are thinking towards New Year’s Eve and celebrating the wedding of Brittany & Deiter!  While some invitations are just one piece with all the information on one card, others like to completely customize.  This beautiful opted for a 5×7 invitation to their celebration, a 3.5×5 two sided rsvp card, a 3.5×5 ceremony invitation card, a wrap for the 5×7 invitation, and envelopes!  Hoping their wedding is as special as they are, congrats Brittany & Deiter!

| Taylor Hodge Senior 2017 |

Last Sunday was spent with the gorgeous Taylor!  We met at one of her favorite places, a nearby park that I had no idea had so many beautiful wooded trails!  We all hiked from one end of the park to the other, starting with a tunnel and off to finding those fall colors!  While many of the trees in our area are still green, we were able to find a few trails with a great bright orange and red!  Thank you Taylor and family for an adventurous evening, best of luck this year!

These kids!  I have loved watching them grow these last few years and look forward to their session every year!  They have hearts of gold and are full of so much energy!  We headed out to a local park for some fall colors and wooded areas!  While Mason was lumber jacking, Addi, Olivia, and I hunted out the perfects spots!  Such a wonderful afternoon full of giggles, smiles, and creativity!  Thank you Grooms Family for a fun filled time!

It’s a warm October this year, with many still wearing shorts and t-shirts, but the leaves are beginning to fall and change quickly!  This last Saturday we spent a warm evening capturing AHS Senior, Amber!  From starting at their family farm to a quick couple of miles down the road and finishing off with a great sunset silhouette, we had a great time talking, laughing, and catching up!  It seems like just yesterday I met her starting out in her first year of 4-H and now she’s a senior!  Best of luck this year Amber!

I enjoy getting to work with other local businesses and was excited when B&P Painting contacted me a few weeks ago!  They were looking to create some new work shirts to wear while out on the job and by putting their logo on the back of the t’s, it makes for a great visual for those passing by to see whom is painting!  What a fantastic way to advertise your business while working at the same time!  They opted to go with two color combinations, red and black ink on sport gray t’s and black and white ink on vintage heather red t’s.  One thing is certain, Aaron will be looking sharp while on the job!

I love this  family!  You can’t spend time with them and not walk away smiling!  We had a gorgeous fall night for their session at their beautiful home!  Having just done Kenzie’s senior pictures the weekend before, we thought it only fitting to do a special shot for each Katie, Abbie, & Maddie!  With the crops still in the field, some straw bales, mums, and pumpkins, we were able to capture their individual personalities, laughs, and their love of boots and the Steelers!  Thank you for a wonderful evening Short Family!

| AHS Alumni Marching Band 2016 |

It’s marching band season, and that means it’s also time for the AHS Alumni Band to joib the AHS Marching Bluestreaks on the field for Homecoming!  Friday evening October 7, I was honored to be able to capture this wonderful annual event again this year!  As Ryan put it that night, the average age of a marcher on the field dramatically went up, and what a wonderful site that was to see!  Members spanning several generations joining the current generation to make AHS Homecoming special!  Led by the unprecedented and former AHS Director, Phil Hoverman, sounds of the combined bands filled the air for a magical start to a wonderful night!  Looking forward to next year!

As fall sets in, many are enjoying the cooler weather, harvest, and pumpkin treats!  Some are also looking towards spring and wedding planning!  Keisha & Christopher are two of those!  I received a message from Keisha a few weeks ago seeking a custom wedding invitation, something unique to them and their family.  I love to take a bride’s vision and bring it to life, and to top off their design, we added the color of their girl’s dresses as the background on a shimmer card stock!  Congrats Keisha & Christopher on your upcoming wedding!

What a gorgeous evening we had for Kenzie’s senior session!  We started at the high school and then traveled to a neighboring town where we walked looking for the perfect locations!  With so many wonderful shots, it was hard to choose just a few for sneak peeks!  This gorgeous, talented, and smart snare drumming field commander has big things in store!  We all had so much fun, from outfit changes to her snare echoing in the alleyways!  Thank you, Kenzie, for a wonderful evening!  Best of luck in your senior year!

Fall has arrived in Northwest Ohio, harvest has begun, and the colors are changing! While the rain chased us indoors for Melissa & Brian’s ceremony, that didn’t stop us from dodging the raindrops to get some great outdoor shots!  This fun loving couple and their bridal party were ready for anything, from trudging through mud puddles to crawling through the weedy pasture field!  It has been a pleasure working with this wonderful family, from invitations and their engagement session, to their beautiful wedding!  Thank you to both the Michaelis and Allen families for allowing us to capture your day!  Congrats Melissa & Brian!
