This next month my home town is celebrating 175 years!  Our small town has changed and grown so much over the years and it’s wonderful to see all that will be going on to celebrate!  With many activities planned for everyone of all ages, from a 5K and sand volleyball, to an antique tractor show, music, movies for the kids, and lots of food!  Come on out and help us celebrate!

I had the privilege of creating the art for this year’s Diabetes Youth Services camps!  Their theme for all three camps is Dr. Suess and what fun the kids are going to have this year!  With the first of three camps quickly approaching, the staff and counselors are finalizing the details!  Have a wonderful time everyone!

I spent a wonderful Friday evening with this gorgeous 2017 Senior!  Miss Hannah was so much fun to be with, we started at an old brick library, out to an old bridge, and ended at a popular dam, all on a hot muggy evening!  She was full of wonderful ideas that she wanted to try, no matter the obstacle, some dramatic flair, and lots of laughs!  Her senior year will soon be here, then it’s off to college!  Best of luck in the coming year, Hannah!

Spring in Ohio, one day it’s warm shorts weather and the next it’s back into hoodies, but last Wednesday I got to spend a wonderful, warm spring evening with this gorgeous family!  We headed out to a local waterfall, hidden back in the woods by the river, did a little hiking, and with the help of the kids, found some great spots!  It’s been so much fun watching these two cute energetic kids grow over the last few years, I can’t wait to continue to capture them in the years to come!  Happy Spring Wyse Family!

This fall I have the honor of capturing this great couple’s wedding!  We have just wrapped up invitations and table tents, with an engagement session up next!  Melissa and Brian are having a quaint small wedding, followed by a larger reception, so they opted to do two different invitations.  They also wanted to share with their reception guests whom was in their bridal party; for this we created a card that when folded in half created a tent with the bridal part on each side that they could set at their tables.  A great and unique way to involve all of their guests!  Congrats Melissa & Brian!

Chance meetings are amazing!  We were in a nearby town for some errands and decided to stop in at a local college to visit some of my husbands former professors.  They weren’t in right then and we got to talking with the wonderful secretary, only to find out she was looking for some invitations for a wedding reception!  I had a wonderful time creating these one of a kind invites and envelope return address labels for her!  Such a sweet, kind, creative, and wonderful person that I’m so glad to have gotten to meet!  Can’t wait to see how the reception goes!  Congrats to Kyle and Sarah and was wonderful to meet you Cindy!!!

This family holds a special place in my heart!  They were my neighbors growing up, classmates in school, fellow farmers, and wonderful friends!  The session was an anniversary surprise for their parents, and I think the girls pulled it off!  The weekend before our session we had snow, luckily that day we had 60 degrees and sunshine; Ohio weather can be so unpredictable and it cooperated perfectly for us.  Thank you all for a wonderful afternoon, Happy Anniversary Duane & Caron!

It has been wonderful to watch this business grow and I am proud to have been able to help get things started!  This time around we created a CD jacket for her upcoming CD that purchasers will be able to incorporate with the previously released cards.  We also created a reference page that will be going in her book that she is having high school students create the illustrations for.  The projects and ideas that Laurie brings forth never cease to amaze me and I always enjoy bringing them to life for her!
