I love to meet new people!  It’s always fun to have someone contact and ask if I can create their wedding invites and bring all of their ideas together to create that perfect look.  Every bride has their own theme and design, which makes each wedding and couple special and unique!  Tricia messaged me just a couple weeks ago looking for invites, she sent me her thoughts on the design and layout, we put them together, and in just one week had her art for the invites finished!  Congratulations Tricia & Gregory!

Last fall I got to capture this gorgeous couple for their engagement session, but long before that we started putting together their save the dates and invitations!  We started with April’s ideas, made some edits, inserted images from their session, and finalized their layouts!  They turned out beautifully and their big day will be here before we know it and I can’t wait to capture it for them!

Newborns are kicking off 2016!  First our little one and now little Emma Ruth!  Weighing in at 6lbs 14 oz and 19.5″ long, she is a gorgeous peanut!  Last summer we did her big sis’ 1 year pictures and last weekend I got to snuggle this beauty at only nine days old!  She looks so much like her sister and mom, but I see a bit of her dad peaking through!  So active and alert during her session showing off her beautiful eyes, welcome Emma Ruth!

As a business owner I like to keep my business and family separate, but now that my family has had some time to adjust, we are ready to share that on November 19, 2015 we welcomed a little boy, Titus Jarrett, to our family!  We had chosen not to find out the gender of our little one, so it was a wonderful surprise to find out we had a little boy!  Just a week after he arrived my husband and I set up our props and worked together to complete his newborn pictures!  He has already changed so much since we took these; he giggles and coos, moves his little legs just as much now as he did before he was born, and loves to snuggle up close.  The cold winter nights have been great for baby snuggles!  Enjoy the first session of what will be many more of our little man!

Custom Christmas cards are one of my many favorite things to do!  What makes them even more fun is when you get to add images from the year’s sessions!  I love to get creative and give families a few different options, and sometimes they just can’t decide so opt to split the number they wanted between different layouts, and why not, makes it more unique and personal that way!  These three gorgeous kids made the cards perfect, from their smiles and personalities, to their orneriness and kindness!  Merry Christmas from SSRM & this gorgeous family!

As the leaves begin to fall and change with the cooling weather, families begin to think of the upcoming Christmas season!  Everyone has unique ideas for what they want their cards to look like, from traditional and simple and elegant to modern and completely created by scratch.  It’s fun to see the images families choose from their sessions to use with their layouts, what better way to spread the Holiday Spirit with their smiling faces!  We did the Robertson session in the early fall while we still had green and Scooter, Bailey, & Elle enjoyed showing us their favorites spots in their trail!  What a great shot to bring a little warmth to the coming cold days in Northwest Ohio!

What a great session to end the week with last week!  This beautiful little girl turned 1 on Halloween!  She was in a great mood, Mom and I were able to keep her moving and catch some adorable shots!  We used the rocking chair that was given to her Mom by her Grandma and the leaves and gourds I had brought in from outside were a huge hit!  I love capturing little ones at this age, the session is run by them, we roll with their likes and dislikes, and we follow them so that they can be themselves, and what’s better than catching those gorgeous eyes and long lashes up close as she craws towards you?!  Happy Happy First Birthday Zaylee!

| Appel Wedding 2015 |

What started out as a dreary, rainy morning last Saturday, turned out to be a great day for a wedding!  The rain moved out, the sun stayed behind the clouds, and the bridal party had a wonderful time!  We did Christy & Brent’s engagement shots this last summer, their wedding invites and programs, and now we’ve finished up with the wedding!  We started shooting their first look where They had their first date, the ladies took off for the church, we got creative with the gentlemen, then headed to the church to get ready for the ceremony!  From a great party bus, to a gorgeous bridal party, everything fell together just as they had imagined!  Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Appel!

There’s just something about fall in our small country town, the quaintness, the quite, and the farmers harvesting in the fields at the same time, it smells magical!  My Sunday was spent with this gorgeous senior whom I’ve known since she was small and it doesn’t seem possible she can be a senior!  Rather than heading off to the big cities, we took full advantage of our colorful and beautiful small town and then headed to her grandparents farm for even more gorgeous colors and unique spots!  It’s amazing the places you can find when you aren’t even looking that make the perfect spot for a session!  Congrats Bekah and AHS Class of 2016!

| St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church 2015 Directory |

St. Peter’s directory project started all the way back in April!  From the first meetings with council to the final product being delivered just last week, the middle of October.  We set up dates in August for members to stop in and take a directory picture or they could schedule their own time throughout the summer.  After a little touch up on the images in post, adding all members addresses and phone numbers, some fun pictures of church activities provided by members, and the cover, we had a directory ready for print!  A huge thank you to council and members for making the whole process simple and come together great!
