Fall has officially hit Northwest Ohio, the leaves are changing and falling, and the crops are coming out of the fields.  Last Saturday I spent a cool evening with this beautiful Dundee Senior!  We headed to her grandparents home, loaded up the gator, and went from the house and barns, to the fields, woods, and their lumber yard!  So many wonderful shots that it was hard to just pick a few for some sneak peeks!  Best of luck in your Senior year Saige and Congrats!

Fall weddings are gorgeous with the leaves changing color and the weather just a bit cooler.  We had a perfect weather day last Saturday for Jocelyn & Hunter’s wedding!  A quaint church ceremony followed by the bridal party and I taking off around town for some fun shots of the couple and the group!  Then it was off to the reception for food, fun, and dancing!  A little vintage mixed with country provided a great combination for the couple’s style!  A great bridal party always makes for fun poses and this group was no exception!  Thank you all for a wonderful Saturday, Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Shook!

Nothing recharges you more after a busy week then a fabulous weekend session!  Spending Sunday afternoon with Graicen was so relaxing!  We met at a local library, strolled around and found fun spots, her spontaneous nature sparked some great shots, and she looks gorgeous!  At only 13 years old, this new teen knows what she wants to do when she graduates and how she’s going to get there!  Best of luck this school year and Happy Birthday Graicen!

Covering events are always a nice change of pace, but they are even more special when the event is one with great meaning to me.  Last year I was thrilled to get to capture my high school’s Alumni band!  The staff and Alumni group have now made it an annual event at homecoming and I was once again honored to capture the evening yet again!  I was hoping to march along with them, but with the arrival of our little one only a few weeks off, I opted to stay behind the camera rather than dusting off my trumpet.  This year’s Alumni band was even larger than last year’s and when combined with the current HS band, they sounded great!  Hopefully next year the Alumni & HS band numbers continue to grow and the combined bands will stretch even further across the field!

These three are always a highlight to my fall!  Without fail we get the best expressions and I have the greatest conversations with all of them!  This year we headed out to the farm for a little tractor fun and finding all kinds of nooks and crannies to use.  Mason of course found the dirtiest ones!  Addie & Olivia take amazing care of their younger brother and making sure he is always behaving his best!  Thank you Grooms Family for another wonderful session!

Last Sunday was a perfect cool, almost fall, day for a family session! A gorgeous family and kids full of energy always make the day even better!  We met at the home of a local family friend and borrowed their barn to keep us shaded and gave us that great rustic fall feel.  Their colors worked perfect and they look amazing!  The kids smiles are priceless, the adults look sharp, and they are one great family!  What a fantastic session to kick off the fall season!

I don’t know if these two can get any cuter! I got to spend a cool fall day with them and had so much fun capturing their personality as a couple! We went to the always gorgeous and unique Grand Rapids and spent the afternoon walking around looking for fun new spots and using places that April & Tyler had scoped out a few weeks before. We’ve been working on save the dates and invitations and I’m looking forward to their wedding next July, can’t wait to capture that day for them! Congrats April & Tyler!

Summer is coming to a close and fall is right around the corner, which means the leaves will be changing and those fall colors will be appearing!  I got to spend my Saturday morning with these three gorgeous pups whom also happen to belong to my aunt and uncle!  Bailey, Scooter, & Elle hiked with us just a little ways into the woods and took their spots in front.  Elle was the most camera shy, but I couldn’t resist sneaking in one of her even if she wasn’t quite looking at me!  Beautiful pups on a cool morning, a great way to start the weekend!

Last Sunday we braved the heat and headed outside for a morning session with these two cuties!  We found a nice shady spot, swatted away the sweat bees, and dabbed at the sweat to get catch these two in action!  Zoey was adorable in her jean dress and cowboy boots and ready to keep the show moving!  While Nora was gorgeous in her jean outfits and fluffy dresses and content to watch big sis, Mommy, Grandma behind me!  Such happy smiles, some serious looks, and a few shots with Mommy!  Thank you Zoey & Nora for a fun Sunday morning!!!
