The always beautiful Mya was in front of our camera this weekend! It has been wonderful to watch her grow over the years and get to capture special moments in her life. A gorgeous local pond and wooded area provided the perfect backdrop for her back to school photos and it won’t be long before we are planning her senior session! Have a great year Mya!

Color is beginning to pop here in Ohio and senior sessions are in full swing. We got to spend time with the wonderful Teylan this weekend and have a great time at Independence Dam and THS where she cheers on the Rams! This year’s senior class is on fire! Each senior’s ideas for their sessions are as unique as they are and Maddie’s session was no exception. From a classy outdoors look, to the football field for some drum fun, and to the dirt and grind of the soccer field, Maddie rocked the evening. It was an all hands on deck evening with all she had planned and it went off without a hitch. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of a session; dress fixing, hair adjustments, setting up shoes, and lighting things on fire all with the help of not only us but families as well! Thank You Short Family for a fun evening and best of luck Maddie in the rest of your senior year and soccer season!

Saturday was a beautiful day and we got to spend it with AHS Senior Stephen! We had a great time getting to know this young man and seeing him enjoy two of his three favorite sports while we captured his senior session. Not only is he a great athlete himself, but he selflessly gives his time in the summer to work with the parks & rec program to help coach within the youth baseball program. From the downtown area to the football and baseball fields, Stephen showcased his talents with lots of smiles and determination. Thank you Stephen and family for a wonderful evening, best of luck in the remaining football season!

Senior sessions are always a favorite of ours, especially when we get to capture members of our family, and each year we look forward to seeing what the seniors have in mind for their sessions! Last Sunday our day was filled with another outstanding senior, and cousin, as we hit the town with Abram and found some great places in Perrysburg for this young man. We took advantage of not photographing in this area often and exploring all the unique and wonderful spots around town. The Yellow Jacket senior is having a great season on the football field this year and looking forward to baseball in the spring. Congratulations Abram, have a great senior year and best of luck this football season!

As we kick off the busy fall season, the cool air is slowly returning, and we are ready for all that fall brings! We spent last Saturday with AHS senior Lucas and headed out to our local campground, the downtown area, and then off to one of his favorite places, the football field. The weather was great and we took full advantage of it to capture as much of Lucas on the football field as we could! Each year we feel very lucky to get to work with not only wonderful seniors, but their families as well; it was a great evening with Lucas and we can’t wait to see what he does out on the football field the rest of the season. Good luck to Lucas and the Bluestreak football team this season!

Sweet Averi popped in for her 9 month session and we had a great time with this little wiggle worm and her big brothers! The weather was even perfect for us to head outside into the beautiful tall grasses before the weather starts turning cooler. Jensen & Jace were big helpers in getting little sis to smile and even gave us some great big grins when they posed with her! We can’t wait to see Averi in just a few short months!

It was a warm summer afternoon, with sun, clouds, and then sun again, as we captured Chris & Beth tie the not last weekend in a quaint backyard ceremony with close family and friends! Smiles and laughter rang out after the ceremony as their guests got to enjoy many fun board games. Once family photos wrapped up, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and continued their games and wonderful conversations. Every couple we capture is special to us, but none so much as those we have known for many years! We couldn’t be happier for Chris and Beth as they embark on their new life together, congratulations you two!

Are you ready for a Junkin’ Good Time?! When our local fairgrounds isn’t hosting the annual fair in August, it provides home to many wonderful events. This weekend, June 24 & 25, it will be hosting Northwest Ohio’s Pickers Paradise & Auto Swap Meet. From 9-5, rain or shine, the indoor and outdoor spaces will be overflowing with antiques, arts & crafts, trash to treasures, architectural salvage, barn finds, car parts & pieces, and anything else that you could possibly think of! We were honored to help them create some new signage for this year’s event and they are now offering soft ts with their new look! Last weekend we got to spend time with one of our favorite groups of people, the Short Family! We have gotten to watch their girls grow over the years, capturing senior sessions, families, and a gorgeous wedding, we couldn’t ask for a more fun family full of love, antics, and lots of smiles. We met at the always pretty Opdycke Park and it was adorned with the beautiful spring greens and wonderful weather. It’s hard to believe that their youngest will be a senior this coming fall, but we are looking forward to what will be another outstanding session. Thank you Short Family for the many years of smiles and love you have shown us, we can’t wait for this fall!
