Last weekend was a beautiful spring day for this handsome little man’s 1 Year pictures & cake smash!  His cake even matched his gorgeous blue eyes!  He had just woken up from a nap in his car seat so we started out playing at the park and then just as we were getting ready for his cake I caught him watching me and was able to capture his perfect, bright blue eyes!  As soon as he saw the cake, his little fingers went right to it and the yummy goodness right into his belly!  After a knee in the cake and some grass in his fingers and hair, Carter decided he had had enough and it was time to clean up!  A big thank you to Carter and his family for a fun afternoon and a Happy Birthday Carter!

What a great session to end the week with last week!  This beautiful little girl turned 1 on Halloween!  She was in a great mood, Mom and I were able to keep her moving and catch some adorable shots!  We used the rocking chair that was given to her Mom by her Grandma and the leaves and gourds I had brought in from outside were a huge hit!  I love capturing little ones at this age, the session is run by them, we roll with their likes and dislikes, and we follow them so that they can be themselves, and what’s better than catching those gorgeous eyes and long lashes up close as she craws towards you?!  Happy Happy First Birthday Zaylee!

Check out this handsome little man!  He was full of so many smiles that it was almost impossible to pick only a few for sneak peaks!  These are just the tip of the ice burg!  Almost a year ago we did his newborn pictures and how he has grown!  He looks so much like his big brother and daddy!  We spent a warm August afternoon at the park letting him just be him and exploring everything his mommy had brought along!  He is walking and ready to be on the move, and no doubt he will be in the combine with daddy this fall!  Happy 1st Birthday Ty!

It’s hard to believe that little Mila will be a year this month!  We did newborn pictures at six days old and a fantastic family shoot last fall!  Her smile is contagious, her laugh is adorable, and her personality is so much fun!  She loves her rocker and was such a big girl sitting in it.  She kept a close eye on Mo and made sure he got an extra little bit of lovin’ and was ready to take off as fast as her little legs could carry her!  It has been such an honor to capture her and her gorgeous family at the important stages of her life and I can’t wait for the next time!  Happy Birthday Mila!!!

Some of you may remember Alexis from her newborn and six months sessions! She has grown so much and is on the move!  No sitting still for very long for this cutie! I love how poses can lead to lifestyle in the blink of an eye and we can capture little ones in their element!  This little ham absolutely loves the camera, cheesing it up quicker than I could hit the shutter button!  And those pearls, her mama had brought those for her six months session and she loved them then, I think she may just love them even more now; we had a vintage looking retro baby, and she was just gorgeous in her little pink chair!  From rockin’ the shades to lovin’ the bubbles and waving to herself in the mirror, Happy Birthday Alexis!

Meet little Allie!  She will be turning one in just a few short days and couldn’t get any cuter!  That gorgeous smile got so big when her Daddy came outside with us!  She was ready to take off walking with her Mommy’s hands for balance and loved swinging!  We heard lots of “ruff,” “uh oh,” and “da da” through the session, such a happy girl!  This weekend she gets to celebrate turning the big 1 with her family!  Happy Birthday Allie Gator!
