I’ve known this gorgeous girl’s Mom and Dad for a long time and was thrilled to get to put her 1st Birthday invitations together! True to her roots, this little one is a John Deere loving farm girl! Can’t wait to watch her grow and get those little piggies out in the show ring! Happy 1st Birthday Allie!

Graduation season is quickly approaching and it’s always fun when when of my seniors comes back and wants me to create something special for their invitations! I love getting to combine both photography from their session and a custom graphic design for their invites! Typically I will do three different layouts and they will pick their favorite, but Bre and her family loved all three and wanted to split their order so they could have some of each! For Bre I went in three different directions, one to reflect her love of sports, a classic rustic look, and one a bit more formal where she could show off her favorite shots. I love that with graphics and invites it is a blank canvas and every design comes together to fit that wonderful senior that I was able to capture so many wonderful shots of! And the final prints turned out great!
Bre will be celebrating her graduation from LCHS with her family and friends on May 23 with some yummy food, great conversations, and a wonderful time out on their farm! Congrats Bre and thank you for allowing me to be an important part of your senior year!

Every graphic project and photo session in unique and special, and these invites were no different! Getting to put together a layout for a family member is always exciting. We started with a basic design Paige had found online, put together some layouts, combined a few things from each one, and got a sleek, vintage feel. The invites are now ready for Paige to put her own finishing touches on them, can’t wait to see the final look! Congrats Paige & Saul!

I love putting together wedding invitations! Every couple has their own style, colors, and theme. You may remember the save the Dates for the Steffel Wedding from last fall, and here are their invitations! I love every job that I get the opportunity to work on, but ones for family are always just a bit sweeter! I’m also thrilled when I get to attend a family wedding as a guest rather than the photographer; photographers do like to put their cameras down every now and then, lol. So in this case I can not take credit for the engagement images, but I was thrilled when Paige asked me to put together their Save The Date postcards with their gorgeous images! Every graphics project I do is custom, we build it around you and your style, so no two will ever be the same. I encourage clients to go online and find a style or look that they like, and we can build from there! And that’s exactly what Saul & Paige did! What’s more fun than getting to announce a shower for a mommy to be?! I just recently finished up these fun designs for a baby shower! Thrown by a friend of mine, I was honored when she came to me asking to put together something for her sister in law! She gave me the info, colors, and theme and we ran with the invitation design from there. She then decided to add a little tag to each of the popcorn goody bags, what a cute idea and saying! This little one is already a very lucky girl!

I’ve been lucky to be a contact for some local wedding decoration and service providers in my area and they have graciously sent their brides my way for their wedding invite needs! I met Sarah and Christopher a while back, we sat down, went over their thoughts for invites and save the dates, they shared some examples that they found online that they liked, and I went back and put together a couple design layouts. They chose what suited them best and we tweaked from there! Here are their Save the Date cards, invites are still in the works, so stay tuned!
I was exhibiting at a show this summer when I realized the vendor across from me looked very familiar, I asked her if she knew who I was, and immediately I got the response “You look like your mom!” We talked the rest of the day and the following one and found out her son was getting married this coming fall and they needed a photographer and someone to do invites. I was their one stop shop! It’s been a wonderful experience working with the Lauber family and helping to bring this event to life! Can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the end of this month!
