Beautiful.  Ashlee is this word inside and out!  It seems like just a short time ago we were doing her senior pictures and she was getting ready to embark on the next chapter, that was already back in 2015, where has the time gone!  Since our last get together Ashlee is now an STNA, working in a neighboring town, and on her way to a nursing degree, how amazing is that?!  We got together last week for an amazing session, just because!  We met up in our small town and walked around from building to building and then headed out to a great grassy field!  Everyone deserves to do a fun photo session for no other reason than to have a wonderful time laughing, catching up, and capturing some amazing smiles!  Thank you Ashlee for heading out on a warm summer evening and braving the walk through the grass with me!

Just over a year ago I got an email from a sweet couple looking to book their photographer for 2018, we met and instantly hit it off!  Tyler & Olivia have been so much fun to work with over this last year when we started with their engagement session and save the date cards, to their invitations, koozies, and capturing their big day.  The day started out rainy and dreary, but as I arrived at the church, the rain stopped and things brightened up!  They opted to not see each other before the ceremony, but instead we did a corner meet so that they could exchange letters and have a moment to themselves and it was so sweet!  The bridesmaids and moms were great help in getting Olivia ready and the groomsmen were ready to get Tyler down the isle!  We heard showers while we were inside off and on, but when we were ready to head out with the bridal party, the showers stopped again and we had great weather for outdoor portraits!  Every detail of the day was planned perfectly, from the dresses and tuxes, to the beautiful cake and chocolate frosted cupcake heart in the middle of the cake table and the sweet note attached to the guests’ silverware!  Olivia looked gorgeous and Tyler beamed with pride as he saw her for the first time walking down the isle!  I’m so happy for Tyler & Olivia and look forward to seeing them around town and many more fun sessions in the future!  Congratulations you two!!!

| Jensen’s 1st Birthday Invitation

The classic John Deere vs. Case rivalry is strong in this sweet family!  Jensen has been in studio for his milestone sessions this past year and in July he will make his last visit for his 1 Year Session!  Time has just flown and it’s been so sweet to watch him grow and to get to know his family!  What’s more fun than a tractor themed birthday party?!  Love how this watercolor design came together and the final print was amazing!  Happy 1st Birthday Jensen!

I had the pleasure of shooting alongside fellow photographer Shaylee Brown last weekend at a beautiful wedding in Toledo!  It’s so much fun to be able to weave our talents together, bounce ideas and thoughts off one another, and teach and learn from each other; community over competition, pushing each other forward, and building each other up!  The day started off rainy, but as soon as Nick & Theresa’s ceremony ended, the rain stopped and we were able to capture some gorgeous shots before the reception!  Enjoy some of my images from the day!  Thank You Shaylee for asking me to join you and Congratulations Nick & Theresa!

Adorable Miss Moline stopped in for a visit last weekend!  She slept and gave us such cute smiles the whole time!  This week you have seen sneaks of her Mom and Dad’s maternity session and their baby shower invitation, and in true Wheeler fashion we went all in with John Deere greens and yellows, complete with a pedal tractor and wagon.  What’s sweeter than a baby surrounded by tractors?!  I have loved being able to capture part of Noah and Christine’s journey to meeting their beautiful baby girl and am so happy and excited for them and the journey that awaits!  Congratulations Noah and Christine, she is beautiful!

Miss Maggie was in studio a few months ago for her sweet newborn session and her family decided to send out birth announcements!  We came up with this adorable custom look for her mom and dad to send to family and friends near and far.  She has changed so much since her session, they just don’t stay little very long!

Just like their invitations, Tyler & Olivia had a great idea for the koozies that they wanted to have available to their guests!  We carried their “K” through into this design as well, making them even more special!  Their guests are in for a wonderful evening, I’m looking forward to capturing their big day on June 9!

Last fall you saw sneak peek’s from Tyler & Olivia’s engagement session and recently we finished up their wedding invitations!  We are just a few months from the big day, I can’t believe we started planning how to capture their special day almost a year ago!  Tyler & Olivia opted to go a slightly different route with their invitations and the results were stunning!  Instead of the standard 5×7 one sided look, they went with a two sided, 4×6, z fold on shimmer stock for a stand out look!  The royal blue popped beautifully and the gray was a great accent; their guests are sure to smile when they open their custom printed envelopes up!

St. Patrick’s day was last Saturday and while many were out celebrating in green, we were in studio with the adorable Miss Sophia and all about pink!  Arriving just a couple week’s early, this little peanut has a cute little personality already and was such fun to cuddle.  So tiny and sweet!  Her Daddy happened to see my son’s toy grain truck and wanted to know if we could work that into her session, of course!  She has such a full head of hair, soft and perfect for a headband!  What a wonderful way to spend the Holiday!  Congratulations Melissa & Brian!

Say hello to Wesley Ray!  He joined me in studio last weekend for some snuggles and cuddles!  Born just three and a half weeks ago, he is already growing big and strong and doing amazing!  Such tiny fingers, toes, and ears!  This handsome little man is the son of my cousin Rachel and her husband Drew and joins big sister Addison!  It’s hard to believe that this summer will be Addison’s second birthday, how did that happen?!  Wesley did amazing at his session, he slept through almost all of it, and then decided he was going to wiggle out of his wrap at the end so he could sleep with his arm up!  Such a little man with a cute personality already, I loved getting to meet him and can’t wait to see him again!  Congrats Drew, Rachel, & Addison!
