Last Sunday we had the honor of spending time with Caleb for his senior session at a gorgeous location.  We started at school for some track and cross country images and then out to a place that brought so many smiles, you could see his passion for land and country with every step he took as he showed us around.  With such a love of agriculture he is headed into the ag field at the completion of his senior year at AHS.  Thank you Caleb and family for a wonderful evening and best of luck with the remainder of your senior year, we can’t wait to see what your future holds!

Last fall we had many wonderful sessions with families and seniors, with only a few having to be rescheduled due to the weather.  Mason’s seniors session was one of those and we were finally able to meet up with him to capture the first part of his session before the weather turned cold and wet again.  We headed downtown for some great shots of this young man who brought a stellar smile to his entire session!  The post rain clouds gave us a great look and even though it was cold, you’d never know by the images.  Thank you Mason and family for a wonderful afternoon and we look forward to this spring as we capture the remaining part of your session!

Reegan & Paislee are three, how can that be?!  Seems like just yesterday we captured their first birthday!  With another beautiful, warm fall day we headed to a local park for some fun in the leaves and the girls did not disappoint with lots of smiles and giggles and the added fun of their bubble machine.  Another of our favorite families, it’s always great to have the Unverferth Family in front of our lens!  Happiest of birthdays Reegan & Paislee, we are looking forward to the next birthday and lots more fun in the leaves!

Our seniors continue to amaze us at their sessions!  We spent a wonderful November evening with the beautiful Hannah capturing the last of the fall colors on an unseasonably warm day.  From our local campground to downtown, and then the football stadium and the tennis courts, Hannah brought her A Game and it showed in her stunning smile.  A band member and tennis player, Hannah has a bright future no matter what path she chooses after graduation and we are grateful to have been just a small part of her senior year.  Thank you Hannah for a wonderful evening and we wish you the best of luck in the remainder of your senior year!

Our sessions with the Grooms Family are always full of belly laughs, falling objects, and great smiles.  We headed out to a local wooded area and found some beautiful colors and luckily very dry pathways after a previous day of rain.  These three area always up for something new and we know Mason will help us to bring all of our ideas to life!  It’s always fun to see where we will head each year, wonder where they will take us next year!

While our fall is full of many seniors, we have been able to sneak in a few family sessions as well!  One of the most wonderful things to capture are the family’s that you have known most of your life, and the Moser Family is one of those!  We headed out to a favorite spot of theirs, not too far from their home and the clouds and rain forced us back into our cars after just a few snaps.  With a short wait the sun came back out, the rain moved on, and we had a great time.  From sidesplitting laughter and the guys wanting a Yellowstone shot, it was a wonderful evening with a family very special to us!

The weather is beginning to change cooler as the colors on the trees are quickly changing and falling!  We were able to get out and enjoy another beautiful weekend with AHS senior Tayanna last Sunday!  From the gorgeous grassy fields of our local campground to the football field and the high school auditorium stage, she rocked her session and we had a great time with everyone.  Tayanna is one of this year’s field commander’s in the marching band, but that isn’t her only musical talent, she has played many different instruments through the years and brought them all along.  The Marching Bluestreaks are lucky to have Tayanna as one of their leaders, best of luck in the remainder of your senior year!

Several years ago we photographed this young man for the first time around this time of year in a bean field, and to this day that is still one of our favorite images of Colton.  What an honor it is to be able to capture families over the years and watch kids grow into wonderful young adults and begin to pursue their dreams!  We had a great time with Colton last weekend where started out in a gorgeous wooded area and then headed to Spengler Field for some sport portraits and action shots on the soccer field.  A great soccer player, you could see how much Colton enjoys the sport as we set up each shot and brought ideas to life!  Congrats Colton and best of luck in the remaining soccer season!

The always beautiful Mya was in front of our camera this weekend!  It has been wonderful to watch her grow over the years and get to capture special moments in her life.  A gorgeous local pond and wooded area provided the perfect backdrop for her back to school photos and it won’t be long before we are planning her senior session!  Have a great year Mya!

This year’s senior class is on fire!  Each senior’s ideas for their sessions are as unique as they are and Maddie’s session was no exception.  From a classy outdoors look, to the football field for some drum fun, and to the dirt and grind of the soccer field, Maddie rocked the evening.  It was an all hands on deck evening with all she had planned and it went off without a hitch.  There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of a session; dress fixing, hair adjustments, setting up shoes, and lighting things on fire all with the help of not only us but families as well!  Thank You Short Family for a fun evening and best of luck Maddie in the rest of your senior year and soccer season!
