We love living in the country, just outside of our small tightknit farming community.  This time of year the crops are almost out of the fields, we are no longer corned in, and can see for miles once again.  Our neighbors aren’t just the house next door, but anyone within a two miles radius, and we were thrilled to head down the road to the Hoffman Farm last weekend to capture this sweet family!  They snuck away for the evening from their own farming and cattle for some updated family photos around the farm.  The kids have grown so much since they were last in front of our camera and made us feel a bit short!  😉  We had beautiful weather and the fall colors and golden hour were showing off as the last of the leaves begin to fall.  Thank you Hoffman Family for a wonderful evening, we can’t wait until the next session!

| Hawk Brehm FHS Senior 2024 |

Mother nature has thrown us a few curve balls this year with rain on the weekends and after a couple reschedules for Hawk, we were finally able to get together for his senior session!  From the baseball field to the pasture, we had a wonderful time with Hawk and his family at their farm.  He not only excels on the field, but also in the show ring with his beef cattle.  Cows hold a special place in my heart having grown up with Holsteins, so it was fun to be in their majestic presence and capture some great moments of them with Hawk.  A huge thank you to Hawk and your family for a fun evening!

The always beautiful Mya was in front of our camera this weekend!  It has been wonderful to watch her grow over the years and get to capture special moments in her life.  A gorgeous local pond and wooded area provided the perfect backdrop for her back to school photos and it won’t be long before we are planning her senior session!  Have a great year Mya!

We were able to spend our Saturday evening with Ashlee & Austin, such a sweet couple, and capture them as they await the arrival of their first little one!  The weather was perfect as we drove just down the road to a family farm with gorgeous big red barns and a woods that was just beginning to show those fall colors.  Ashlee & Austin were absolutely adorable and their anticipation is evident in all they do.  It was a great time exploring the woods and looking for those just right spots of light that would illuminate these two, Ashlee and her amazing smile and the looks of love that radiate from Austin as he gazes at her.  Thank you both for such a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to meet your little one!

This year we headed out to Opdyke Park for their family session and it did not disappoint!  Colors are beginning to pop in the trees and the air has been warm in the day and crisp and cool at night.  Mason kept us entertained with his wit and jokes as usual while we looked for the perfect place for everyone.  We look forward to this full of life, sweet, and kind family every year!  Have a wonderful fall Grooms Family!

Our fall season has kicked off with the stunning beauty of AHS Senior Eve!  From the grassy fields, to downtown, and lastly to the family farm, this girl never stopped smiling.  Her infectious laugh, kindness, and constant energy kept us moving and helped us capture her natural beauty.  We had lots of sidesplitting laughs, a few wardrobe changes, and a little chasing of Holsteins, nothing out of the ordinary out here in the country!  She’s going to do big things after high school and we can’t wait to see where she goes!  Thank you Eve for a wonderful evening, best of luck with the remainder of your senior year!

| Rohrs Family 2020 |

November has been unusually warm and we are all taking full advantage of it!  The color has almost completely disappeared from the trees, the crops are harvested, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner!  Last weekend I had the pleasure of capturing the Rohrs Family, a family that is very dear to our hearts because they are also part of our family.  We headed to their family farm to use their gorgeous red barns and then headed out to their woods to find some color and even see where Tyler dropped his first deer from his tree stand that you see in their sneaks!  Growing up just down the road form one another, enjoying horse rides, farming, and even polka dances together, we love spending time with them all; Luke, Heather, Tyler, and Abbi all played a part in our wedding, we enjoy hearing Luke play and sing in the family polka band, and he is my favorite polka dance partner!  They all have hearts of gold and love our kids like their own, they’ll do anything for you, and I couldn’t have been more excited when they asked to do a family session this fall.  Even though we didn’t have much of a sunset to end the evening, we still captured a wonderful silhouette with the farm behind them; Thank You Rohrs Family for a wonderful evening!

October weather was still gorgeous here in Ohio this last weekend, however today it is raining!  I was honored to spend part of my Sunday with this beautiful family as they gathered to celebrate a wonderful birthday!  The Stehulak Family gathered at Nancy & Carl’s and the day was filled with kids of all ages, from Carl’s mom, uncle, and siblings, to Nancy & Carl’s kids and grand kids; so many happy smiles from all of them!  The young ones did amazing too!  Thank you Stehulak Family for a great afternoon, hoping you all had a wonderful birthday celebration and enjoyed the warm fall day!

I spent a blustery fall Saturday morning with this beautiful family!  It’s been three years since we last did photos and oh how the kids have grown!  From a sports star and horse showman, to a young farmer, these three keep their mom and dad hoppin’!  Being in the midst of harvest season, including their full gravity wagons was perfect and as soon as pictures were finished, it was off to the fields on what turned out to be a sunny day!  Thank you Schnitkey Family for a fun morning!

With the unusually warm fall weather, that means more time for great fall colored sessions!  I got to spend last Friday with this beautiful family; we had great night, did some location walking, and I had a gorgeous little helper to find the perfect spots!  Little ones always make a session so much more fun, and these two cuties were no exception!  Then to end the night we were able to get in some great sunset silhouettes!  Thank you Sell Family for a wonderful evening!
