It isn’t very often we get to capture a Wauseon High School senior, but last weekend we had the pleasure of spending time with Shanon in downtown Wauseon!  While November in Ohio is usually cold and means we have to pull out our winter coats, we had beautiful weather for this great young man’s session.  From the downtown courthouse and train depot, to the high school campus, we had wonderful locations and perfect fall color.  Thank you Shanon for a great afternoon!

We cherish every single session and family we get to capture, especially our families that we see every year.  The Grooms Family, like every fall, did not disappoint in this year’s location of downtown Napoleon!  Only this time it felt more like we were doing senior photos for each of the kids instead of their yearly photos, they have all grown so much!  We also love to recreate a photo each year of the three just to see how much they change, it’s so much fun to compare from year to year.  It won’t be long before we really are doing senior photos, but for now we will enjoy the years of them all together!  Thank you Grooms Family for a wonderful and blustery afternoon!

Senior sessions, we never know just what we will do or where we will go, but it’s always exciting to find out how they each want to personalize their time!  We were looking forward to spending time with Abbie and knew she would have some great ideas!  Having captured her two older sisters, she was ready to mix it up and we did just that!  From downtown and the tennis courts, to the football field and stage, Abbie rocked the entire evening and it was a great way to showcase the activities that are most important to her; trying to pick just a few to favorites to sneak was no easy task.  Seeing her step onto the courts and field she lit up and you knew these were her happy places.  The Short Family is one we always look forward to spending time with and we are ready to capture their whole family soon!  Thank you Abbie for a wonderful evening, best of luck in your senior year!

As we head into the Holiday Season after what can only be described as a year like no other, we look forward to enjoying the lights, music, and many festivities around the surrounding communities.  On a warm Friday after Thanksgiving we headed out to capture the Beaverson’s 2020 back to school session!  It’s been an honor to capture the Beaverson Family over the years from school photos to senior sessions; the kids have changed so much and it’s always exciting to see where life will take them next!  Thank you Beaverson’s for the honor of being a part of your family’s milestones!

Heart, kindness, determination, and beauty, just a few of the words that describe 2021 Senior, Erin!   We spent a cool, crisp fall evening at their home, downtown, and off to our local campground for her session.  There wasn’t one place that Erin didn’t rock and knock it out of the park; with cloudy skies and soft golden light, we had a wonderful time, choosing just a few to sneak was no easy task!  While school looks different for everyone this year, that hasn’t stopped this senior from making the best of things and loving every minute of it.  Erin is bound for great things and it has been a pleasure to be able to capture just a small part of it.  Best of luck this year Erin, can’t wait to see what your future holds!

The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling, and signs of fall are all around us.  This also means getting to spend time with area seniors as we capture their senior photos!  Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting up with Zoe and walking a local downtown to find the perfect spots for her before we headed out to hit the trails of a Goll Woods, a state nature preserve.  It was a beautiful day, with gorgeous evening light and a dramatic golden hour!  I’ve been lucky to work with Zoe each fall through the AHS Marching Band and their numerous activities.  Her beautiful smile lit up every picture; from brick wall to a wildflower patch, she was stunning!  Thank you Zoe for a wonderful evening, best of luck in your Senior Year!

| Dana Voll AHS Senior 2020 Fall Session |

Dana’s late summer session was stunning, from the football field to a wonderful grassy field; but her fall session last weekend was just as gorgeous!  We had beautiful weather for the second part of her 2020 AHS Senior session, with sunshine and warm temperatures, we were able to enjoy many of our local downtown areas.  So many great brick buildings, shutters, cinder blocks, and great wood siding, Dana shined just a bright this fall as she did in the summer!  Being around her amazing personality and sweet smile, you can’t help but be happy and enjoy the moment!  She worked the camera flawlessly in her relaxed, urban outfit, ready to take on anything life as to throw at her.  Dana has a bright future ahead and I can’t wait to hear all about her fall plans as they fall into place!  Thank you for two amazing sessions and so much beautiful images!

When you wear a hot dog shirt to your session, you know it’s going to be great!  Brok is hilarious, his personality matches his shirt perfectly!  We had beautiful weather the other day as we strolled through downtown Defiance for his session.  I love my yearly sessions with this handsome guy, they are always full of laughs, giggles, and scary expressions!  Brok started kindergarten this week and I’m sure is going to rock it!  Have fun this year buddy!

Happy 4th of July!  What a great way to kick of the Holiday with some sneaks from this amazing 2019 summer senior session!  I headed to Napoleon last week and found some great places with the gorgeous Lydia!  From old barns and alley ways in between brick buildings, to grungy doorways and chalk on the bricks, it was a beautiful start to the evening.  We then head out to her family’s farm just a few miles down the road!  This time of year is wheat harvest for our area, and those golden fields of wheat are amazing.  I was so excited to find out Lydia’s family had several wheat fields on their farm, and we took full advantage of it!  We were able to capture so many amazing images during golden hour through sunset!  Choosing just a few sneaks from her session was not an easy task, but so much fun!  Thank you Lydia for an incredible evening and good luck this upcoming year!

Beautiful.  Ashlee is this word inside and out!  It seems like just a short time ago we were doing her senior pictures and she was getting ready to embark on the next chapter, that was already back in 2015, where has the time gone!  Since our last get together Ashlee is now an STNA, working in a neighboring town, and on her way to a nursing degree, how amazing is that?!  We got together last week for an amazing session, just because!  We met up in our small town and walked around from building to building and then headed out to a great grassy field!  Everyone deserves to do a fun photo session for no other reason than to have a wonderful time laughing, catching up, and capturing some amazing smiles!  Thank you Ashlee for heading out on a warm summer evening and braving the walk through the grass with me!
