Everything about this family makes me smile!  The Grooms Family is another one of my yearly sessions and each year I can’t wait to see how they have grown and changed, it won’t be long before the oldest is taller than me!  This year, we headed out to the beautiful Sauder Village Campground and Little Lake Erie; after a few days of heavy rains, we had a gorgeous and cool fall day.  We even found a couple trees whose leaves were just starting to show a hint of color, giving us the perfect feel to the start off fall!  I love every minute of my conversations with each of these kids, I always leave having learned something new!  Mason wanted to do a recreate of an image we capture back in 2014 and challenged me to do a side by side of them for their sneaks, challenge excepted!  Thank you Grooms Family for another wonderful session, have a great Fall!

I spent part of Mother’s Day with the amazing Fry Family!  By the end of the session my abs were so sore from laughing, never a dull moment and such a wonderful time!  You might recognize a few faces from some previous individual sessions this year and I was thrilled to get to capture the whole group as one.  From four adorable grand kids, to a group of comical son-in-laws, side splitting laughter was on hand the whole session!  We ventured back to a gorgeous cabin in the woods with a creek, brilliant green color on the trees, and just a little mud!  Natalie and Annie did amazing and were gorgeous, Jensen was Mr. Ham as usual, and Miss Moline was perfect at just a couple weeks old!  Thank you all for a wonderful start to Mother’s Day, hope all four of you Mama’s had a great day!

We had snow flakes last Sunday!  It was chilly, damp, and rainy, and then there were large flakes!  The Fry Family braved the cold temps, bundled to stay warm, and then unbundled quick for a great result!  Three gorgeous granddaughters and a handsome grandson made this session so fun!  The girls were full of smiles and even held hands!  Thomas was a trooper in the cold and gave us some great grins!  Thank you Fry Family for a fun afternoon!

Trey is the big brother to Brok and another handsome young man!  I think he has stretched a foot since I saw him last!  This football playing tough guy has a heart of gold and ready to help whenever he is needed!  I love catching up with him, hearing about what’s new, and seeing if he’ll attempt climbing the next unique and inviting tree!  The future holds great things for this guy and I can’t wait to see where it takes him!  Thank you Trey for another wonderful session!

This family, I love them!  I looked forward to seeing this crew each and every year!  It is so fun to look back at just how much these three have changed since last year.  This year we ventured out to the gorgeous town of Grand Rapids on a warm Sunday afternoon!  We strolled around enjoying the fall colors as we looked for just the right spot for each kiddo, talking about dinner the night before, staying dry and not jumping into the water, and the yummy smells coming from each shop and restaurant we passed!  Before we knew it the sun was starting to lower in the west and our tummies were rumbling!  Thank you Grooms Family for a wonderful Sunday!!!

Saturday I headed out to Goll Woods to join this fun loving family for their session!  We had a beautiful, warm fall day to capture all of them, and their antics!  We ventured just a little ways into the woods and off the beaten path for some great spots and beautiful fall colors!  The little one kept us on our toes and made sure we were moving along and when we weren’t, she was sure to get Great Grandma moving in the right direction and borrowed her chair for a much needed break!  Thank you Reeb Family for a wonderful afternoon, some great jokes, and I can’t wait to capture all of you again!

Last Sunday I got to spend a beautiful day out at Oak Openings with this wonderful family!  It was great to get together with Aaron and Natalie again and meet their two beautiful pups!  Loki and Daisy were so sweet and did so well, even with all the people that were out and about that day!  We decided to take off  down some trails to find some beautiful spots and around ever turn and bend, it was just gorgeous!  The colors are just beginning to turn and the smell of the evergreens made it the perfect fall setting!  Loki loved it so much he had to get up close with Natalie to share his excitement and Daisy was on a mission to fine the perfect spots!  Thank you Burkhardt Family for a wonderful afternoon, happy anniversary a little early too!

Northwest Ohio weather has been unpredictable at best this spring, but last Friday we had a gorgeous day out to capture this beautiful family!  We headed out to Lauber Tree Farm to borrow their beautiful old barn and trees!  Our session was filled with exuberant giggles, dandelion picking, pine cone collecting, and two sets of little baby toes!  I even got a little help from Emmy setting up each shot!  It was an honor to capture you all and to spend my Friday evening with you, thank you Sausser Family for a wonderful time!

I got to spend a warm Saturday afternoon with a family that I hadn’t seen in what seems like years!  I had the honor of growing up in church with the kids and it was wonderful to see them and their families!  We shot at the always gorgeous Lockport Bridge on a day that the weather cooperated and the sun was shining!  The kids were adorable and handsome and were great all day!  Thank You all for a wonderful day and getting to catch up!
