Meyer Family 2022

Family sessions are a favorite of ours, big, small, or extended, they all make us smile!  Our Sunday evening was spent with the Meyer Family out at the Sauder Village Campground where the colors we stunning as golden hour set in.  Their pup Nala provided entertainment for all as she asked for belly rubs and ran her zoomies out, she even sat still for a handful of photos!  Families can get so busy going in all different directions, it’s wonderful to see so many great families taking the time this fall to get together and update their photos.  We are so grateful to the Meyer Family for choosing us, we had a wonderful time and wish you a Happy Fall!

Grooms Family 2022

This year we headed out to Opdyke Park for their family session and it did not disappoint!  Colors are beginning to pop in the trees and the air has been warm in the day and crisp and cool at night.  Mason kept us entertained with his wit and jokes as usual while we looked for the perfect place for everyone.  We look forward to this full of life, sweet, and kind family every year!  Have a wonderful fall Grooms Family!

Wendt Family 2022

Our summer sessions kicked off with the fantastic Wendt Family!  Full of smiles, laughter and some O-H-I-Os!  We started at the always beautiful Sauder Village Campground and made a final stop at the family home where they all sported their scarlet and gray.  The heat broke just in time for the weekend and made for a great evening.  Thank you Wendt Family for a wonderful evening!

Jace Hamman 1 Year

In ten years we have met so many wonderful people, and the Hamman Family is one of our favorites!  We met up at their cabin last weekend to capture Jace’s last milestone session, he is 1!  We had great, mild weather for December and Jace took full advantage by airing out his little toes!  With the help of big brother Jensen we were able to capture some of Jace’s many facial expressions.  It has been wonderful getting to see Jace grow through his first year and we will miss seeing him every few months, Happy Birthday Jace!

Grooms Family 2021

We cherish every single session and family we get to capture, especially our families that we see every year.  The Grooms Family, like every fall, did not disappoint in this year’s location of downtown Napoleon!  Only this time it felt more like we were doing senior photos for each of the kids instead of their yearly photos, they have all grown so much!  We also love to recreate a photo each year of the three just to see how much they change, it’s so much fun to compare from year to year.  It won’t be long before we really are doing senior photos, but for now we will enjoy the years of them all together!  Thank you Grooms Family for a wonderful and blustery afternoon!

Graber Family 2021

Last weekend you got to enjoy the Unverferth Twins’ one year session, this week we get to share with you one of their extended families!  The Graber Family met up at the Sauder Village Campground on a beautiful fall day!  Little Lake Erie was a great backdrop for this fun family.  From bubbles abounding to a perfect home made fall blanket, there were lots of smiles from not only the twins, but grandma and grandpa too!  Capturing our Ridgeville families is one of or favorite things, and this fantastic crew didn’t disappoint.  Thank you Graber Family for a wonderful afternoon!

Verhoff Family 2021

Grand Rapids, Ohio has always been a favorite spot for any session; the river, mill, downtown, and metro parks provide so many wonderful opportunities!  It was the perfect backdrop for the Verhoff Family last weekend to update their extended family photos and to grab a bite at the local pizza eatery after.  We may have had to wait out a few raindrops and showers, but once it cleared, we had perfect fall weather, adorable little ones, and a few adventurous adults exploring the river!  Thank you Verhoff Family for a fun afternoon!

Burtch Family 2021

A rainy Saturday morning cleared off just in time for a beautiful, cool afternoon session with one of our favorites, the Burtch Family!  It’s been a couple years since we did updated photos of the whole family, and with one off to college and another not far behind, it’s never easy to coordinate everyone’s schedules.  We luckily found a date that worked for everyone and made the most of our afternoon before evening football games kicked off.  While walking around we found perfect spots at Pontiac Park and were even able to enjoy the music of rib fest playing in the background of downtown.  Family sessions allow for so many different combinations of groupings; from parents and kids, to just the kids, individuals of the kids, a recreation of a photo done each session, and anything else we can come up with!  Thank you Burtch Family for a wonderful afternoon!!!

Reynolds Family 2021

2021 is the year of extended family sessions! So many families didn’t get together last year due to the pandemic, so they have decided to make up for it this year with photo sessions and we couldn’t love it more! Capturing all these amazing people this summer and fall is going to be such fun, so many smiles and hugs all around. The Reynolds Family brought so much life to their session that it was contagious! With a sweet new little one to the antics from the adults, it was a wonderful afternoon! They battled a windy day, but that didn’t stop the smiles and love that abounded from them all. It has been a few years since we captured this sweet family, the kids are a little taller now, some even close to or surpassing them! Thank you Reynolds Family for a great day!

Rohrs Family 2020

November has been unusually warm and we are all taking full advantage of it!  The color has almost completely disappeared from the trees, the crops are harvested, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner!  Last weekend I had the pleasure of capturing the Rohrs Family, a family that is very dear to our hearts because they are also part of our family.  We headed to their family farm to use their gorgeous red barns and then headed out to their woods to find some color and even see where Tyler dropped his first deer from his tree stand that you see in their sneaks!  Growing up just down the road form one another, enjoying horse rides, farming, and even polka dances together, we love spending time with them all; Luke, Heather, Tyler, and Abbi all played a part in our wedding, we enjoy hearing Luke play and sing in the family polka band, and he is my favorite polka dance partner!  They all have hearts of gold and love our kids like their own, they’ll do anything for you, and I couldn’t have been more excited when they asked to do a family session this fall.  Even though we didn’t have much of a sunset to end the evening, we still captured a wonderful silhouette with the farm behind them; Thank You Rohrs Family for a wonderful evening!
