There’s something incredibly meaningful about photographing life’s milestones—especially when they belong to family. Nate and Anna’s maternity session was held at a location that holds deep significance for our family, making this session even more special. After a day full of baby shower activities on Sunday, Nate & Anna set aside some time that evening for their session, and the weather didn’t disappoint; with a beautiful golden hour and the sky filtered with some clouds, it was a great evening.

Capturing this season of anticipation and love, in a place woven into our shared memories, was such fun. This is one of the reason that we do what we do: to preserve not just moments, but the stories and emotions behind them.  Congratulations Nate & Anna!

We were able to spend our Saturday evening with Ashlee & Austin, such a sweet couple, and capture them as they await the arrival of their first little one!  The weather was perfect as we drove just down the road to a family farm with gorgeous big red barns and a woods that was just beginning to show those fall colors.  Ashlee & Austin were absolutely adorable and their anticipation is evident in all they do.  It was a great time exploring the woods and looking for those just right spots of light that would illuminate these two, Ashlee and her amazing smile and the looks of love that radiate from Austin as he gazes at her.  Thank you both for such a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to meet your little one!

Taylor & Josh were beaming this last weekend as we captured their maternity photos!  The excitement that their little one will be making his appearance in a few short weeks was everywhere and it was such an honor to spend the evening with them.  We braved a few mosquitoes in the woods for some beautiful results!  Taylor had mentioned she wanted to do some water photos and it was a great idea, she was stunning.  When couples are willing to take a different step and do something out of the ordinary, the results are always spectacular.  These next weeks will go fast and that little guy will be here before you know it, Congratulations Taylor & Josh!

A message came through a few weeks ago from a mom to be looking to do a maternity session before their little one’s arrival at the end of July. We instantly hit it off and found a date to meet up in Grand Rapids, Ohio for their session! Alicia & Matt were so much fun to work with! Not a single dull moment, jokes and inside jokes were in abundance! We strolled from one end of this adorable amazing little town to the other, getting to know one another, hearing about their little one’s nursery, and learning about how these two met! Not only did we get to celebrate this little family, but we celebrated this little one in a very special image that you will see below. Alicia and Matt you guys are so much fun, thank you for bringing many smiles to my Saturday evening!

This beautiful couple welcomed their first little one just a week ago!  Noah, Christine, and I headed out on a chilly Saturday afternoon, got the tractor and combine out of the barn, and had a wonderful time catching up and capturing this wonderful time in their lives!  I have known Christine for quite some time and it’s been wonderful to get to know Noah, he is already such a great Daddy and Christine is so in love with her little one already, she beams when she watches them together!  Their love radiates for Baby Wheeler and I am so excited for them!  Stay tuned for sneaks of Baby Wheeler’s newborn session!  Congrats Noah & Christine!

This family radiates love.  In every action, word, and general kindness!  Once you graduate high school it’s easy to lose contact with classmates as you go in your own directions and start your own families.  Last Sunday I had the absolute honor of capturing a classmate of mine and her family!  Meeting her sweet husband and adorable daughter was so much fun; not only did we catch up, but made plans to get together in the future when they are in the area!  Our husbands hit it off and I can’t wait for our little guy to meet their daughter for play dates!  From old brick buildings downtown, to golden wheat fields and old red barns, what better time to pull out the vintage couch and explore!  I’m so excited for them with the arrival of their next little one just a few short months away, Jazmine looks so beautiful, the pictures just don’t do her justice!  Ale definitely keeps them on their toes, but couldn’t be cuter; Jose you are one lucky man!  Congrats Lopez family and we can’t wait to get together again!

Summer has quickly arrived in Ohio!  Last weekend we braved the hot and muggy weather for a beautiful evening with Justin & Ashley for their maternity session!  A gorgeous couple with a house divided, Mama loves John Deere and Daddy loves Case IH!  They were looking for an evening of fun, simplicity, and country!  And a few cows thrown in!  They don’t know the gender of their little one, but that’s one of the best surprises, and no matter what it is, it is already very loved!  Congrats Justin & Ashley, can’t wait to see that little one!
