Technology has changed so many different things over the years, not only cameras and phones, but the movies we watch as well! Who remembers watching those old school Disney VHS tapes?! The capabilities that movie creators have these days in unbelievable! I was thrilled when a local movie theater asked me to create their Free Family Film Festive posters! They offer several days during the summer months were families can get together and watch movies in their theater for FREE! How amazing is it that they are giving back to their community in this way!? It was so fun to bring the characters from each of these movies into one layout to create a fun and exciting atmosphere! Baby shower’s have long been a staple in welcoming a little one! However, the last few years has seen a rise in Diaper Parties! Normally with a package of diapers as the gift of choice. While the ladies are showering the Mama-to-be, the gentlemen are now honoring the Dad-to-be! Anything from BBQ’s to brewery tours, the sky has become the limit! Justin’s friends will be joining him on June 3 for an evening out, while his wife, Ashley, enjoy’s her baby shower that day! Have a great time gentlemen!

In our area a house divided usually means OSU/Michigan or Tigers/Indians, but it can also mean John Deere/Case! That’s exactly the case for the Hamman family! This June Ashley’s family and friends will be showering her and baby Hamman with lots of love and all things baby; and hopefully a lot of JD green! I loved getting to combine their love of tractors into an elegant summer design. June will be here before we know it and family and friends will be ready to celebrate; and then shortly thereafter, Baby Hamman!

There isn’t much sweeter than getting to design invitations for a little one’s baptism! A couple weekends ago little Jake Black was baptized, surrounded and celebrated by family and friends! He is the newest addition to the Black family whom also happen to be friends of our family! Jake joined Bob, Kate, & big sister Allie this past February; looking forward to seeing him grow and hopefully many play dates in the future! Congrats Bob, Kate, & Allie!

Kyle & Taylor tied the knot last Saturday! It was an honor to create the invitations and programs for this wonderful couple! We carried the elegant design from their invitations through to their programs and they turned out beautifully! Rather than the traditional 8.5″x11″ folded in half, they opted for an 11″ tall x 4.25″ wide two sided layout; and the details of their day laid out perfectly! | DYS Leadership 2017 Hoodies |

This year the Diabetes Youth Services Leadership Retreat kicked off their camp season like true super heroes! The DYS Leadership Program is firmly committed to helping give all young T1D’s the tools needed to embrace their opportunities and differences, while working together towards better health, knowledge, friendships, and leadership! Leadership Retreat is for their upcoming camp counselors to get excited, learn to work together, and prepare for the upcoming year’s three camps, Big, Middle, & Little Shots! For the theme this year, the teens have chosen super heroes and were excited to create a design that could encompass what T1D camp counselors do for their campers! Deep purple hoodies with lime green and white ink made their design pop. A special thanks goes out to this year’s sponsors, The Farmers & Merchants State Bank and Renegade Fitness for helping to put on an amazing retreat for some outstanding teens leaders

Getting to collaborate and work with other small businesses is a wonderful thing! I enjoy being able to refer other great companies to my clients and Forever Held is one of my favorites! Forever Held does a fabulous job with wedding planning, consulting, and Day-of Services. I can speak from experience to the Day of Services, as Forever Held helped to take the burden off of my own wedding day, allowing us to enjoy our day, and made sure everyone and everything went smoothly! For some upcoming bridal shows that Forever Held will be exhibiting at, we created some 8.25″x3.75″, two sided, glossy informational handouts to go along with business cards we had previously created. I enjoy working on all types of graphics projects, but the ones for family always seem a little sweeter. These business cards were created for my sister! The last couple years my family has been using Young Living Essential Oils and we have loved how they have benefited our lives! They have been a great addition to our overall wellness. Shonda was looking for a unique look to share her love of oils with others and after sitting down together, we came up with these! Simple and clear yet with an artistic flare. As 2017 is now well underway, there are still many new things coming for SSRM this year! Next up is the brand new “Share the Love” referral program! Today is the day! This beautiful couple will be tying the not in just a couple of hours! For their ceremony programs we took fonts from their invitations, sized at 4.25″ w x 11″ h, one side showing their bridal party, and the other their ceremony and thank yous. What a crisp, cool winter day for the new Mr. & Mrs. Held to celebrate their new life together and to ring in the New Year! Congratulations Brittany & Deiter!
