Brok has grown so much since last years pictures!  Such a handsome little man, full of energy, life, and ready for anything!  He had lots of great ideas for his session; where we should go, how he should stand, and when he was ready for a new spot!  Brok looked adorable against the beautiful fall colors and was full of zombie stories as we walked along!  He was definitely ready for Halloween!  Sessions with Brok are always full of fun and I learn something new every time!  Happy Halloween!

Fall colors are still changing and beautiful here in late October!  I spent my Sunday afternoon yesterday with this fun & loving family!  We headed out to a gorgeous spot with lots of colors still on the trees, a great stone building, and crisp cool fall air!  The Burtch family is another one of my yearly sessions and I always look forward to my conversations with each family member as we find just the perfect spot for each!  This year we did a full family and then broke down into mini sessions for each of the kids and what a blast each of their sessions was!  Stay tuned for sneaks from Graicen, Trey, & Brok’s sessions!  Thank you Burtch Family for a wonderful day yesterday!

October weather was still gorgeous here in Ohio this last weekend, however today it is raining!  I was honored to spend part of my Sunday with this beautiful family as they gathered to celebrate a wonderful birthday!  The Stehulak Family gathered at Nancy & Carl’s and the day was filled with kids of all ages, from Carl’s mom, uncle, and siblings, to Nancy & Carl’s kids and grand kids; so many happy smiles from all of them!  The young ones did amazing too!  Thank you Stehulak Family for a great afternoon, hoping you all had a wonderful birthday celebration and enjoyed the warm fall day!

Saturday I headed out to Goll Woods to join this fun loving family for their session!  We had a beautiful, warm fall day to capture all of them, and their antics!  We ventured just a little ways into the woods and off the beaten path for some great spots and beautiful fall colors!  The little one kept us on our toes and made sure we were moving along and when we weren’t, she was sure to get Great Grandma moving in the right direction and borrowed her chair for a much needed break!  Thank you Reeb Family for a wonderful afternoon, some great jokes, and I can’t wait to capture all of you again!

Last Sunday I got to spend a beautiful day out at Oak Openings with this wonderful family!  It was great to get together with Aaron and Natalie again and meet their two beautiful pups!  Loki and Daisy were so sweet and did so well, even with all the people that were out and about that day!  We decided to take off  down some trails to find some beautiful spots and around ever turn and bend, it was just gorgeous!  The colors are just beginning to turn and the smell of the evergreens made it the perfect fall setting!  Loki loved it so much he had to get up close with Natalie to share his excitement and Daisy was on a mission to fine the perfect spots!  Thank you Burkhardt Family for a wonderful afternoon, happy anniversary a little early too!

What a wonderful session last Saturday to kick off the fall season!  The leaves are beginning to change, however it’s been unseasonably hot and humid, weather that we would normally see in July and August!  Despite the heat I spent a wonderful Saturday evening with Tyler & Olivia!  We started out at a beautiful location in the country and then headed downtown to use the wonderful old brick buildings, all the while staying in the shade to keep cool.  Now that fall is here, that also means football season, and we couldn’t do a fall session without including some shots in their favorite team colors!  With so many wonderful images from the session, it was hard to find just a few sneak peeks to share.  Thank you for a great evening, Congrats Tyler & Olivia!

Almost a year ago this wonderful couple said I do, and when Melissa mentioned doing 1 year anniversary pictures, she asked if we could do them a little differently!  Of course!  Instead of a one year anniversary session, Brian & Melissa are proud to announce that they are expecting a little “shooter” this coming March!  Of course when shooting an announcement session, it usually means that very few people know and that I have to keep a huge secret; so if I happen to run into their family or friends, means I can’t give the secret away!  I’m so glad Melissa’s mom knew when I ran into her at the fair and was the one to bring it up!  ;o)  We spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon exploring one of Brian’s family’s woods in search of the perfect spots!  I had just as much fun capturing them Saturday as I did the day of their wedding, even if there were just a few more mosquitoes!  I’m so excited for these two and can’t wait for their maternity session, capturing that beautiful baby bump!  Congrats Brian & Melissa, I can’t wait to meet the little “shooter!”

| Ohio Flags of Honor |

Our small community was excited and humbled to host the Ohio Flags of Honor this last Saturday & Sunday, and what a beautiful weekend it was!  With many helping to set up Friday night, the wonderful ceremony of placing the flags and reading of the names of the fallen Ohio Heroes on Saturday, and to the many whom came to visit Saturday night and into Sunday.  Our American Legion Post 454 did an amazing job of putting a great program together for the Ohio Flags of Honor!   Click here to check out their Facebook page and see some of their images from the weekend!  As a one of the advisers to our local 4-H club, we were honored to have been asked by the Legion Commander to help place the flags along with another 4-H Club, Freedom Royal Farmers, members of our local Fire Department, Veterans, current members of our Military, and many other community members!  While I was there to help get our 4-Hers started and organized, I couldn’t resist bringing my camera to capture this once in a lifetime event, it was truly amazing!  Thank you to those whom have served and are serving!

What a beautiful day it was last Saturday for a wedding!  I was once again honored to be asked to shoot alongside fellow photographer and friend Lauren Beers at this beautiful couple’s wedding!  From detail shots and the ceremony at the church, heading across the street and uptown, and then out to a home in the country, we ended up at their reception for a night of good food and dancing!  I love getting to share my talents with fellow photographers and learn from them at the same time; community over competition, building each other up, and providing a couple with even more shots from their special day!  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Long!

This family radiates love.  In every action, word, and general kindness!  Once you graduate high school it’s easy to lose contact with classmates as you go in your own directions and start your own families.  Last Sunday I had the absolute honor of capturing a classmate of mine and her family!  Meeting her sweet husband and adorable daughter was so much fun; not only did we catch up, but made plans to get together in the future when they are in the area!  Our husbands hit it off and I can’t wait for our little guy to meet their daughter for play dates!  From old brick buildings downtown, to golden wheat fields and old red barns, what better time to pull out the vintage couch and explore!  I’m so excited for them with the arrival of their next little one just a few short months away, Jazmine looks so beautiful, the pictures just don’t do her justice!  Ale definitely keeps them on their toes, but couldn’t be cuter; Jose you are one lucky man!  Congrats Lopez family and we can’t wait to get together again!
