Fall color this time of year is hard to find, but last weekend the Lawrence Family found some at 4-H Camp Palmer!  We headed out on a warm fall afternoon and found some beautiful places.  From grassy areas, to fences and beautifully colored trails, there were lots of smiles, laughter, hugs, and even a few bunny ears!  I had such a great time catching up with fellow high school classmates that I haven’t seen in years and hearing about what they are up to and where they are living these days!  After we graduate high school, time flies so fast and it’s easy to lose track of everyone, but it has been a wonderful Thanksgiving this year as I have been able to reconnect and catch up with so many wonderful friends!  Thank you Lawrence Family for a wonderful afternoon, Happy Holidays to all of you!

Years and distance can make staying in touch with old friends difficult these days, but with the help of social media it’s made keeping up with others much easier!  I was happy to hear that an old friend of mine and her husband had welcomed a little boy eleven weeks ago and even more excited to find out that they were going to be back in the area over Thanksgiving!  We were able to find a time to sneak in a quick mini session as they were headed from one dinner to the next and though our time was short and we didn’t get to catch up as much as either of us would have liked, it was wonderful to meet her sweet family!  We were able to capture many of Reese’s sweet expressions and even a few of his mom and dad!  Over the last few months we have enjoyed reconnecting by sharing stories of our boys and giving advice to one another on things to try or what worked for us and it has been so nice to have another listening ear to bounce parenting questions off of!  Congrats Becca & Jacob, Reese is adorable!

Ice and snow is blanketing northwest Ohio today as schools close and many are heading for the warm indoors!  As sessions begin to wrap for the year and graphics projects and logo design are picking up, it was fun to spend one of my last 2018 sessions with Reese last weekend!  We headed south a little ways to his mom’s home town and were able to find some wonderful spots!  We had access to some amazing old barns, a gorgeous old ’39 John Deere B tractor, and when your grandpa is the fire chief for the local department, you head into the warm fire station after being out in the chilly for some indoor fun!  Thank you Reese for a fun Sunday afternoon, best of luck this year and in the coming fall!

.Pumpkins, tractors, leaves, and a cuddly, happy, and handsome little man in plaid were the perfect way to spend my Saturday!  I love when little ones look up and right into the camera, there is such an innocence in their big eyes, looking, watching, learning, and exploring everything around them, taking it all in!  Trevor loved playing with the little tractors and taking a taste of the gourds!  Seems like such a short time ago that we did his newborn session, he has grown so much, looks just like his big sister Emma, and I look forward to watching him grow!  Happy Half Birthday Trevor!

One of my favorite things is hot chocolate and our weather has been perfect for it!  What a better way to warm up at our Saturday morning session than with yummy hot chocolate and whipped cream!?  I met up with the Crossgrove Family just down from their home and we had a gorgeous morning and the light was perfect for their session!  The sun was peaking up behind the horizon and bringing to life everything around it.  I’ve known Jodi since before high school and was so excited to capture her and her beautiful daughter!  We had lots of laughs, a little whipped cream fight, and so many amazing smiles, it was a session for the record books!  This session will fill you with such happiness and give you all those warm fuzzy feelings!  I love nothing more than capturing a family all while catching up and reminiscing with a wonderful friend!  Thank you Crossgrove Family for such an amazing fall session!

| Raegan Sell 2 Years |

Raegan is 2!  When did that happen?!  Seems like it was just yesterday we did a family session for her and her family and she wasn’t very old!  She has such a sweet personality and was full of lots of adorable and funny faces for us last Saturday morning!  Fall has brought much cooler temperatures in the mornings and night, but it didn’t seem to bother Raegan at all, she was ready to explore and take on the world!  Whether we had cows around or not, she was sure to find one!  Her cute farm dress was perfect with her boots and jean jacket, she was ready to find what hid around every corner of the barns!  Happy Birthday Raegan, thank you for such a wonderful session, you kept me on my toes!

| Beaverson Back To School 2018 |

It’s been a few years since the Beaverson’s have been in front of the camera, but you would never have known, it was just like it had been yesterday!  A few weeks ago you saw their brother Hunter’s senior session, but last Sunday morning it was their turn!  We headed to a local barn with gorgeous grass and a beautiful fall light all around us!  As the fields are emptying and the colors changing, we bundle up just a bit more and smiled and laughed to keep us warm!  It’s been a beautiful fall and so many more wonderful sessions still to come, but what a wonderful session with great kids, thank you all for a great start to a fall morning!

| Grooms Family 2018 |

Everything about this family makes me smile!  The Grooms Family is another one of my yearly sessions and each year I can’t wait to see how they have grown and changed, it won’t be long before the oldest is taller than me!  This year, we headed out to the beautiful Sauder Village Campground and Little Lake Erie; after a few days of heavy rains, we had a gorgeous and cool fall day.  We even found a couple trees whose leaves were just starting to show a hint of color, giving us the perfect feel to the start off fall!  I love every minute of my conversations with each of these kids, I always leave having learned something new!  Mason wanted to do a recreate of an image we capture back in 2014 and challenged me to do a side by side of them for their sneaks, challenge excepted!  Thank you Grooms Family for another wonderful session, have a great Fall!

The Henry Family has kicked off our 2018 Fall Season!  Our first session with gorgeous pumpkins, mums, and straw bales!  I have known the Henry Family for a long time, from going to school with their boys to showing at the fair and being in the same 4-H club in our small town; I was honored to get a message a few weeks ago to capture them on a beautiful and warm Labor Day!  After a quick couple miles down the road, we got some wonderful shots of this amazing family and their adorable grand kids!  Two handsome young men on pedal tractors and a gorgeous girl with beautiful flowers made their session perfect!  We had a very warm morning, but the kids were troopers and we were able to beat the noon heat!  Thank you Henry Family for a wonderful start to our Labor Day!

| Moline Wheeler 3 Months |

Sunday I got a visit from little Miss Moline for her 3 Month Milestone Session!  She has grown so much since her newborn pictures just a few months ago.  So alert, smiley, loves her tongue, and loves to look at her Mom & Dad!  After some great sets inside we headed outside into the warm summer air and she loved it!  She is definitely going to be an outside girl and going to love being in the field with her Daddy!  It didn’t take long after some sweet snuggles with her Mama and the warm air put her right to sleep, and what’s better than a sweet baby next to a John Deere pedal tractor with her favorite cow?!  Our inside session turned into an outdoor lifestyle session and it was a beautiful day out!  Looking forward to our next session and watching this gorgeous girl grow!
