This last Sunday afternoon I got to spend some time with little Miss Judy who just recently turned one!  How did the last year fly by so fast?!  She has grown so much and is absolutely adorable!  We may not have gotten any smiles from her and she gave us a run for our money, but she loved the little pumpkins and gave us some great nose wrinkles.  We love seeing our newborn clients back in studio for milestone sessions, watching them grow and capturing those special ages makes our hearts smile.  Wishing Miss Judy a wonderful year ahead!

There’s nothing quite like morning baby snuggles, tiny noses, tiny toes, and cute little yawns.  Our Saturday morning was spent cuddling not quite two week old Judy and enjoying her big sister Sophie.  Some little ones will sleep during their session, Judy slept for a bit and then was awake, but we were able to catch some adorable expressions in between!  We loved creating a fall look and Miss Sophie fit in just perfectly with her baby sister for their sibling shot!  Congratulations Allen Family, thank you for sharing your sweet new girl with us!

Reegan & Paislee are turning 1!  I got to spend part of my Saturday morning with these two adorable girls and their mom and dad at Leaders Farms here in Henry County.  They were cute as pumpkins and did so well for their session!  We took over their stage for a bit, then out to the start of Scream Acres, and topped our time off with a double pumpkin cake smash.  While a little hesitant at first, after a little coaxing and help tasting from mom and dad, they investigated and started to enjoy!  These two pumpkins are almost fully on the move and in just a few short weeks they pumpkins will turn 1, Happy Birthday Reegan & Paislee!

Jace is 9 Months and on the move!  Sitting still is no longer of interest to him, it’s now go time.  He has grown since his last session, but just as cute and looking just as much like big brother as before.  He has such blue eyes, you can’t help but smile when he smiles at you.  Three months always goes so fast, his one year session will be here before we know it!  Happy 9 Months Jace!

Just as we were getting ready for the Gerdeman Family’s session, it decided to downpour!  With some quick thinking, fast moving, and a beautifully fall dressed family, we headed out to look for a new spot!  We happened to pass a gorgeous wooded area close enough to the road that we could stay out of the mud, but far enough from the road that we would be safe.  With no idea whom the homeowners were, we pulled up and they graciously gave us the go ahead to use their property!  Despite our slight set back, the Gerdeman Family was on point all evening!  With adorable smiles from their kiddos, to the sweet laughs mom and dad were able to get out of them, it was a wonderful session!  Thank you Gerdeman Family for a wonderful evening and the flexibility to find a brand new spot all with out warning!

| Wheeler Family 2019 |

The Wheeler Family, so sweet, kind, funny, and generous!  I love them!  I have had the pleasure of watching Noah and Christine in their dating years, celebrating their wedding, capturing their maternity, meeting little Miss Mo at just six days old for her newborn session, and watching them become amazing parents.  There is so much love in their eyes and emotions when they look their sweet girl and she gives it right back, in every dance move she gives them!  Their yearly family session is just one of the many that I look forward to, seeing how they have changed and grown, the belly laughs, and the adorable grins from Mo.  We had a beautiful, cool, and slightly blustery fall morning for their session, but Noah found a creative way to help block that wind and keep Miss Mo smiling!  Our lives are busy with work, family, and daily routines and we don’t get to see each other or talk enough, but it’s so much fun when we do see each other and can pick up where we left off!  Wheeler Family you are amazing, Happy Fall to you all!

.Pumpkins, tractors, leaves, and a cuddly, happy, and handsome little man in plaid were the perfect way to spend my Saturday!  I love when little ones look up and right into the camera, there is such an innocence in their big eyes, looking, watching, learning, and exploring everything around them, taking it all in!  Trevor loved playing with the little tractors and taking a taste of the gourds!  Seems like such a short time ago that we did his newborn session, he has grown so much, looks just like his big sister Emma, and I look forward to watching him grow!  Happy Half Birthday Trevor!

This family, I love them!  I looked forward to seeing this crew each and every year!  It is so fun to look back at just how much these three have changed since last year.  This year we ventured out to the gorgeous town of Grand Rapids on a warm Sunday afternoon!  We strolled around enjoying the fall colors as we looked for just the right spot for each kiddo, talking about dinner the night before, staying dry and not jumping into the water, and the yummy smells coming from each shop and restaurant we passed!  Before we knew it the sun was starting to lower in the west and our tummies were rumbling!  Thank you Grooms Family for a wonderful Sunday!!!
