Every senior session is special and unique, but this one was a little extra special!  Kyle happens to be a cousin of mine and he had some fabulous ideas for his session!  We started off in downtown Defiance, headed out to the THS & football field, and back to the woods for a little fun with some colored smoke bombs!  Trying to decide just which images to sneak has been no easy task, there are so many wonderful ones.  From brick alleyways and side streets, to the stadium bleachers and a little smoke bomb fun, help me in wishing Kyle best of luck next year as he attends The Ohio State University!

Rain has kept many farmers in our area out of the fields lately, but that didn’t stop us from heading out to the always beautiful Sauder Village Campground for Felicia’s Senior Session last weekend!  The trees were showing hints of leaves and the grass showing more greens than browns as our spring has taken a back seat to colder weather!  We started at the Heritage Inn and made our way to the campground, the ground was a bit soggy but that didn’t stop us from capturing this gorgeous senior!  With graduation just a few weeks away, seniors are planning parties with family and friends and getting ready to take that next step, be it collage, trade schools, or the work force, the class of 2019 is almost ready!  Best of luck after graduation Felicia, thank you for a wonderful Sunday evening!

It doesn’t seem like almost a year ago little Lawson was in studio for his newborn session, but he will turn one in less than a month!  This sweet, smiley little man was back in studio for his 1 Year milestone session this past weekend and did so well!  We got lots of smiles, a few snuggles, and a snack to help keep those smiles coming.  With the help of his mom, dad, and big sister, we had lots of help in catching his sweet grin!  He has such adorable little curls and a personality that makes you heart smile even bigger!  Happy 1st Birthday Lawson!

| Zach & Kenzie Engagement |

Spring is here!  However while there are still many places with little color, there are others with lush green grass and budding trees!  I am so excited to capture the wedding of Zach & Kenzie this coming August and last weekend we met in Grand Rapids, Ohio for their engagement session!  Providence Park was still hibernating, but after finding several wonderful spots, we headed to the always beautiful Nazareth Hall where their wedding reception will be held!  Even though it was only a few miles away from our starting point, there were gorgeous green grasses and the grotto was perfect!  After some great captures of the two of them, we tuned the engagement session into a mini family session and added in their beautiful little girl!  With a smile from ear to ear, you couldn’t be anything but happy around her!  Zach & Kenzie are such a sweet couple and I can’t wait to spent their special day with them!  Congratulations you two!

Hints of spring color are popping up, the grass is greening, and the trees are finally budding!  Though finding that beautiful spring green color is still tough around here, we had a great Saturday evening for Eric’s senior session!  We started at his home with their gorgeous barns and his adorable pup and then headed out in his VW Cabriolet for some fun!  He took us to a gorgeous secluded spot with amazing grasses, paths, and trees, add in that gorgeous golden light, and we had a perfect evening!  Eric is a such a sweet young man with a great smile that makes everyone around him smile too!  Congratulations Eric and best of luck after graduation!

Fall colors are still changing and beautiful here in late October!  I spent my Sunday afternoon yesterday with this fun & loving family!  We headed out to a gorgeous spot with lots of colors still on the trees, a great stone building, and crisp cool fall air!  The Burtch family is another one of my yearly sessions and I always look forward to my conversations with each family member as we find just the perfect spot for each!  This year we did a full family and then broke down into mini sessions for each of the kids and what a blast each of their sessions was!  Stay tuned for sneaks from Graicen, Trey, & Brok’s sessions!  Thank you Burtch Family for a wonderful day yesterday!
