Everything about this family makes me smile!  The Grooms Family is another one of my yearly sessions and each year I can’t wait to see how they have grown and changed, it won’t be long before the oldest is taller than me!  This year, we headed out to the beautiful Sauder Village Campground and Little Lake Erie; after a few days of heavy rains, we had a gorgeous and cool fall day.  We even found a couple trees whose leaves were just starting to show a hint of color, giving us the perfect feel to the start off fall!  I love every minute of my conversations with each of these kids, I always leave having learned something new!  Mason wanted to do a recreate of an image we capture back in 2014 and challenged me to do a side by side of them for their sneaks, challenge excepted!  Thank you Grooms Family for another wonderful session, have a great Fall!

This year in Ohio it has taken much longer for spring to arrive, but last weekend I got to spend the afternoon with this sweet couple for their engagement session!  In our area we are lucky to have Ohio’s largest living-history destination, Sauder Village; Tyler and Erica met here while working summer jobs(they still work here!) and it seemed only fitting to do their engagement session at the Village!  The love between these two radiates, they see each other and they both beam!  Tyler looks at Erica and lights ups, Erica is all smiles when she looks at Tyler.  It was wonderful to have the Village all to ourselves, we reminisced about how things have grown and changed, where buildings used to be, and what the upcoming season will bring!  Their laughs are infectious, their love is beautiful, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding in July!  Congratulations Tyler & Erica!

I met Jake, Erinn, Derek, & Ashley last fall for their family session and we had a great time! I was so excited when Erinn contacted me to do 2014 fall family pics! We were also able to combine Wanda & Kenny’s mini shoot that they won in the contest back in August into the same session, so it was perfect! We woke up to a very chilly Saturday morning after a rainy Friday, so we had to change plans just a little and bundle up a bit more 🙂 Starting out at Sauder Village was a great idea, the colors are just now turning in the trees and a great crisp feel was in the air.  But after a few great outdoor shots and to keep the little ones warm we headed over to the Sauder Heritage Inn for a second set of pics in their gorgeous settings! Thank you Wyse Family for a wonderful Saturday morning!!!
