This year’s senior’s have chosen some absolutely amazing locations for their sessions, and Hailie, a Monroe Ohio High School 2020 Senior, was no exception last Saturday! We headed out to a local metropark and were lucky enough to find a small hint of fall color in one of their amazing grassy fields and a few colored leaves filtering the trails and bridges. Hailie is such a sweet, kind young woman from with a bright future ahead! She brought lots of great ideas to her session and a fabulous chair! I love when seniors bring something personal to help customize their session, and this chair was amazing; the perfect amount of unique mixed with personality and style! We started off at just one of the many great locations in the metropark, then headed to a gorgeous trail, the main hub was next where we found the perfect bridge, and off to finish in the stunning grassy field! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and great weather for this fantastic senior, thank you Hailie for such a wonderful Saturday evening! Best of luck this next fall!

| Riah Short AHS Senior 2020 |

Fall colors are still hiding here in Northwest Ohio, but that didn’t stop Riah from bringing beautiful fall color to her senior session last weekend! This girl is stunning, hilarious, exuberant, smart, and we had an amazing time with her! It would have been much easier to share her entire session than to choose a few sneak peeks, they are all so beautiful! To give her session a personal spin, we started in the high school auditorium to showcase her love of music, she’s a fabulous singer and plays two instruments in band; she had such a great idea on how she wanted to pose these shots, so we put our heads together, found the best way to make it happen, and I love how they turned out. We then headed out to our local nature preserve where the sun snuck behind the clouds at the perfect time and allowed us to use some amazing grassy spots and even the road through the woods! Riah worked the camera like no other, her smile and laughter were contagious, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday afternoon! I can’t wait to see where the future takes Riah, thank you all for such a wonderful time, best of luck this next fall!

Senior year is a busy time for today’s seniors, so many activities, ball games, programs, college visits, and job opportunities! Within the hustle and bustle are also many lasts; the last first day of school, the last first game, the last first club meeting, and even that last exam. I had the honor of spending last Sunday with Pettisville High School Senior Tyler and his family and what a beautiful day we had! The rain held off, we had sunshine, clouds, and wonderful locations. We started off at Franker Mill Bridge, then to the school, and our last stop was the always wonderful Sauder Village! We took advantage of the many great buildings and even ventured into their newest addition, The 1920’s! We were able to capture so many wonderful images of Tyler, it was no easy task to find just a few sneaks! Thank you Tyler and Family for a wonderful Sunday afternoon, best of luck this year and in the coming fall!

Every senior session is special and unique, but this one was a little extra special! Kyle happens to be a cousin of mine and he had some fabulous ideas for his session! We started off in downtown Defiance, headed out to the THS & football field, and back to the woods for a little fun with some colored smoke bombs! Trying to decide just which images to sneak has been no easy task, there are so many wonderful ones. From brick alleyways and side streets, to the stadium bleachers and a little smoke bomb fun, help me in wishing Kyle best of luck next year as he attends The Ohio State University!

Rain has kept many farmers in our area out of the fields lately, but that didn’t stop us from heading out to the always beautiful Sauder Village Campground for Felicia’s Senior Session last weekend! The trees were showing hints of leaves and the grass showing more greens than browns as our spring has taken a back seat to colder weather! We started at the Heritage Inn and made our way to the campground, the ground was a bit soggy but that didn’t stop us from capturing this gorgeous senior! With graduation just a few weeks away, seniors are planning parties with family and friends and getting ready to take that next step, be it collage, trade schools, or the work force, the class of 2019 is almost ready! Hints of spring color are popping up, the grass is greening, and the trees are finally budding! Though finding that beautiful spring green color is still tough around here, we had a great Saturday evening for Eric’s senior session! We started at his home with their gorgeous barns and his adorable pup and then headed out in his VW Cabriolet for some fun! He took us to a gorgeous secluded spot with amazing grasses, paths, and trees, add in that gorgeous golden light, and we had a perfect evening! Eric is a such a sweet young man with a great smile that makes everyone around him smile too! Congratulations Eric and best of luck after graduation!

Ice and snow is blanketing northwest Ohio today as schools close and many are heading for the warm indoors! As sessions begin to wrap for the year and graphics projects and logo design are picking up, it was fun to spend one of my last 2018 sessions with Reese last weekend! We headed south a little ways to his mom’s home town and were able to find some wonderful spots! We had access to some amazing old barns, a gorgeous old ’39 John Deere B tractor, and when your grandpa is the fire chief for the local department, you head into the warm fire station after being out in the chilly for some indoor fun! Thank you Reese for a fun Sunday afternoon, best of luck this year and in the coming fall!

Every senior session is unique and special, Hunter’s was no exception! We roamed our high school’s downtown and found some great locations, then headed out to two of his favorite places, and even had a helper who was amazing! Thanks Mya! Hunter’s smile was so sweet and you could tell he is enjoying his senior year, it goes fast and he is making the most of it! He has a very bright future ahead after high school and I know that he is going to do so well! Congrats Hunter and best of luck after graduation!

Summer is quickly coming to a close and schools are back in session, warm nights are quickly fading, and the days are starting to get a little shorter. Luckily I got to spend one of the last few days before school with now AHS Senior Katie! We had so much fun finding grassy spots, which are some of her favorite places, adventuring, and coming accross a great old barn! From great smiles and serious faces we had so many laughs and even dodged a few mosquitoes! She is sure to stay busy with school, being an FC, and playing soccer, best of luck this year Katie!

Now that August is here, that means school is just around the corner and seniors are getting ready for their final year of high school! Last Saturday I spent the evening in our small town with Brock, an upcoming Archbold High School Senior! We found some great spots downtown and then took a short walked to his house and used their amazing old barn! Not only was it perfect, but I learned a little bit of our town’s history and Brock’s family’s history! As golden hour approached we took a quick drive to a local woods and took advantage of the warm summer evening, a great location, and a beautiful sunset!
