This year’s senior’s have chosen some absolutely amazing locations for their sessions, and Hailie, a Monroe Ohio High School 2020 Senior, was no exception last Saturday! We headed out to a local metropark and were lucky enough to find a small hint of fall color in one of their amazing grassy fields and a few colored leaves filtering the trails and bridges. Hailie is such a sweet, kind young woman from with a bright future ahead! She brought lots of great ideas to her session and a fabulous chair! I love when seniors bring something personal to help customize their session, and this chair was amazing; the perfect amount of unique mixed with personality and style! We started off at just one of the many great locations in the metropark, then headed to a gorgeous trail, the main hub was next where we found the perfect bridge, and off to finish in the stunning grassy field! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and great weather for this fantastic senior, thank you Hailie for such a wonderful Saturday evening! Best of luck this next fall!

Senior year is a busy time for today’s seniors, so many activities, ball games, programs, college visits, and job opportunities! Within the hustle and bustle are also many lasts; the last first day of school, the last first game, the last first club meeting, and even that last exam. I had the honor of spending last Sunday with Pettisville High School Senior Tyler and his family and what a beautiful day we had! The rain held off, we had sunshine, clouds, and wonderful locations. We started off at Franker Mill Bridge, then to the school, and our last stop was the always wonderful Sauder Village! We took advantage of the many great buildings and even ventured into their newest addition, The 1920’s! We were able to capture so many wonderful images of Tyler, it was no easy task to find just a few sneaks! Thank you Tyler and Family for a wonderful Sunday afternoon, best of luck this year and in the coming fall!

Fall is quickly approaching, our nights are cooler and our days are getting shorter, summer has come and gone so quickly! Schools are now back in session and that means senior sessions are in full swing! Last Friday night I met up with Dana and her sweet family to capture the first part of her senior session! Dana is one of the field commander’s for the school’s marching band and it was so much fun to head out to the football field to capture that important part of her senior year! After wrapping up there we headed out to a gorgeous field across the road from her house for some golden hour magic! Nothing can beat that beautiful light and our night was capped off by a stunning sunset! Dana brought so many wonderful ideas to her session, we had some great helpers in her brothers, and I had a great time with her! Best of luck this year Dana, I can’t wait for part two of your session!

Every senior session is special and unique, but this one was a little extra special! Kyle happens to be a cousin of mine and he had some fabulous ideas for his session! We started off in downtown Defiance, headed out to the THS & football field, and back to the woods for a little fun with some colored smoke bombs! Trying to decide just which images to sneak has been no easy task, there are so many wonderful ones. From brick alleyways and side streets, to the stadium bleachers and a little smoke bomb fun, help me in wishing Kyle best of luck next year as he attends The Ohio State University!

Rain has kept many farmers in our area out of the fields lately, but that didn’t stop us from heading out to the always beautiful Sauder Village Campground for Felicia’s Senior Session last weekend! The trees were showing hints of leaves and the grass showing more greens than browns as our spring has taken a back seat to colder weather! We started at the Heritage Inn and made our way to the campground, the ground was a bit soggy but that didn’t stop us from capturing this gorgeous senior! With graduation just a few weeks away, seniors are planning parties with family and friends and getting ready to take that next step, be it collage, trade schools, or the work force, the class of 2019 is almost ready! Happy 4th of July! What a great way to kick of the Holiday with some sneaks from this amazing 2019 summer senior session! I headed to Napoleon last week and found some great places with the gorgeous Lydia! From old barns and alley ways in between brick buildings, to grungy doorways and chalk on the bricks, it was a beautiful start to the evening. We then head out to her family’s farm just a few miles down the road! This time of year is wheat harvest for our area, and those golden fields of wheat are amazing. I was so excited to find out Lydia’s family had several wheat fields on their farm, and we took full advantage of it! We were able to capture so many amazing images during golden hour through sunset! Choosing just a few sneaks from her session was not an easy task, but so much fun! Thank you Lydia for an incredible evening and good luck this upcoming year!
