Jace is 9 Months and on the move!  Sitting still is no longer of interest to him, it’s now go time.  He has grown since his last session, but just as cute and looking just as much like big brother as before.  He has such blue eyes, you can’t help but smile when he smiles at you.  Three months always goes so fast, his one year session will be here before we know it!  Happy 9 Months Jace!

A rainy Saturday morning cleared off just in time for a beautiful, cool afternoon session with one of our favorites, the Burtch Family!  It’s been a couple years since we did updated photos of the whole family, and with one off to college and another not far behind, it’s never easy to coordinate everyone’s schedules.  We luckily found a date that worked for everyone and made the most of our afternoon before evening football games kicked off.  While walking around we found perfect spots at Pontiac Park and were even able to enjoy the music of rib fest playing in the background of downtown.  Family sessions allow for so many different combinations of groupings; from parents and kids, to just the kids, individuals of the kids, a recreation of a photo done each session, and anything else we can come up with!  Thank you Burtch Family for a wonderful afternoon!!!

Fall is certainly in the Northwest Ohio air as the crops are close to harvest and the trees are beginning to show a hint of color.  Cooler air greets us in the mornings as the school kids wait for the bus and the Archbold football team is enjoying their Friday nights under the lights!  We were lucky enough to spend a Sunday evening with Quinn, a member of the football team and avid fisherman.  We had a great time exploring and doing a little fishing at Harrison Lake and then we hopped back in the car for a quick stop at Goll Woods and a wrap up at the football field.  Quinn and his teammates are having a great season this year and the community is having just as much fun watching them!  Thank you Quinn for a great evening, best of luck with the rest of football season and your Senior Year!  Go Streaks!

Senior sessions, we never know just what we will do or where we will go, but it’s always exciting to find out how they each want to personalize their time!  We were looking forward to spending time with Abbie and knew she would have some great ideas!  Having captured her two older sisters, she was ready to mix it up and we did just that!  From downtown and the tennis courts, to the football field and stage, Abbie rocked the entire evening and it was a great way to showcase the activities that are most important to her; trying to pick just a few to favorites to sneak was no easy task.  Seeing her step onto the courts and field she lit up and you knew these were her happy places.  The Short Family is one we always look forward to spending time with and we are ready to capture their whole family soon!  Thank you Abbie for a wonderful evening, best of luck in your senior year!

Taylor & Josh were beaming this last weekend as we captured their maternity photos!  The excitement that their little one will be making his appearance in a few short weeks was everywhere and it was such an honor to spend the evening with them.  We braved a few mosquitoes in the woods for some beautiful results!  Taylor had mentioned she wanted to do some water photos and it was a great idea, she was stunning.  When couples are willing to take a different step and do something out of the ordinary, the results are always spectacular.  These next weeks will go fast and that little guy will be here before you know it, Congratulations Taylor & Josh!

Cool mornings are here and the fields are just starting to change color, fall is quickly approaching and our senior schedule is full!  We had the pleasure of spending part of our weekend with Tyson in Grand Rapids, Ohio last weekend and it was a beautiful evening.  He has such a handsome smile and kind personality, it was a joy to capture this moment for his family!  Tyson was even on the lookout for great spots, we love when our seniors incorporate their ideas into the session, it makes it that much more personalized!  Towards the end he was even reading our minds with what we would want him to do!  Thank you for a great evening, we hope you have a great senior year and best of luck next fall!!

| Rusty Short AHS 2022 Senior |

Our local schools are back in session, that means seniors are in full swing, and Rusty helped to kick off our fall season with a one of a kind session!  We started by meeting this wrestler at the athletic complex and then headed fishing, our first senior to take us fishing!  After a small hike down a rocky slope in warm, humid temperatures, and a couple casts later, the avid fisherman caught his first fish in this particular spot.  As the sun began to set and the mosquitoes arrived, a storm started rolling in as we wrapped up our last set.  Congratulations Rusty and thank you for a exciting evening, best of luck in your senior year!

| Crossgrove Family |

Here in Northwest Ohio the area is full of farmland, from cattle and pigs, to corn, beans, wheat. Farming runs deep in many families, including ours, with the next generation already learn the rains. Last weekend I was honored to have spent some time with the Crossgrove Family, a family we have been lucky enough to have known through school, farming, and fair for many years! They had gathered to celebrate their parent’s 50th Anniversary and topped the day off with an extended family session! It’s wonderful to capture a large group and be able to break down into individual families and capture their personalities. So many great images from their session and it was great to catch up with everyone, thank you Crossgrove Family for a wonderful evening and Happy 50th!

Say hello to little Jace!  He and big brother Jensen stopped in for his 3 month milestone session last weekend and what a little man he is!  Jace loves to have his hands up and is ready to hit the fields with his dad, though he may have to change his shirt, lol.  😉  We were even able to get some smiles from Jensen and Jace at the same time, just look at these handsome boys!  What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and we are looking forward to Jace’s 6 month session already!

As we start to return to normal after a year of so many changes, we were honored to be able to spend last Sunday with Matt & Allie as they said “I Do” in a very quaint and beautiful ceremony of close family and friends!  Matt’s love for Allie radiated during their bridal portraits and Allie’s smile was contagious and never ending when Matt arrived!  He even brought her bouquet to their first look for her and it was absolutely stunning!  We were lucky to have a beautiful spring day for outdoor photos, a little wind, but that didn’t stop Allie from smiling!  After their ceremony guests enjoyed gorgeous and delicious cupcakes and yummy appetizers.  It was a wonderful day for a sweet couple!  Thank you Matt & Allie, wishing you all the best!
