There is nothing quite like a late afternoon session in the woods, and Olivia’s high school senior portraits were absolutely magical. We spent the evening exploring the gorgeous scenery at a local state park, hitting everything from quiet wooded trails to the beautiful shoreline just as the sun began to dip.

Olivia brought the perfect mix of casual and classic outfits that beautifully complemented the deep greens and soft earth tones of the trees. The weather was absolutely perfect, with a soft breeze rustling the leaves and that warm, low sunlight filtering perfectly through the branches. Having photographed Olivia’s family every year for quite some time now, it is incredibly special to watch her grow into the amazing young woman she is today. Getting to document this specific milestone for a family I’ve known for so long makes this session so close to our heart.

Olivia was an absolute natural in front of the camera, easily moving from soft, serene expressions to radiant smiles.  Our absolute favorite moments from the evening happened right by the water—the creek and the surrounding rocks provided a stunning, peaceful backdrop that made that filtering golden hour light glow even brighter. It’s hard to believe high school graduation is just around the corner, and I’m so honored to help freeze this milestone in time with these classic, timeless portraits!
