Gavin’s his senior session brought a little grit, a lot of soul, and just the right amount of edge. Inspired by the spirit of Johnny Cash, this session was all about capturing what makes Gavin unique—his deep love for music and his connection to the outdoors. Set against the backdrop of the high school auditorium and football field, to the golden fields and wooded trails, we incorporated both nature and scenic textures to reflect his grounded, adventurous spirit.

From candid moments with his guitar under the trees to composed portraits with all of his instruments, every shot was designed to showcase not just his style, but his story. His request of a sunset silhouette was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. It’s always an honor to photograph seniors at this exciting crossroads—especially when their passions are so clearly a part of who they are.

Congratulations, Gavin! Your future is looking bright—and in tune!

The fall season of sessions has come to a close and we had a wonderful evening with Jesse to wrap things up!  This senior drummer has some amazing moves and what fun we had at the end of the evening with some very hot drum sticks.  Our first stop was the football field where he has marched all four years of high school, then to the tennis courts and some great color in the trees, and lastly the family farm for some amazing fall colors in the woods.  Thank you Jesse and family for a wonderful evening, best of luck with the remainder of your senior year!

| Grooms Family 2024 |

The Grooms Family, one our favorite yearly sessions, was back in front of our camera this last weekend.  The kids seem to have grown a foot since last year and are now as tall as their mom, not sure how that happened so fast!  We headed to a local park that had beautiful grasses and some color in the trees.  After a dry few months, fall color has been hard to find, but it’s finally popping up here and there.  The day started with rain, but cleared for comfortable fall temps and the perfect cloudy skies.  This year Addi is a senior so we didn’t do her individual photos at the same time, but to see her senior sneaks head on over to our senior gallery!  Thank you Grooms Family for another fun session!

Sweet Averi is turning one and we got to spend a beautiful morning together capturing not only this sweet girl but her whole family as well!  We met up at their beautiful cabin in the woods, and while most of the leaves have fallen, it was still such a pretty location for some family photos.  She is on the move and we had to stay on our toes to capture her, but her big brothers helped to make her smile.  Having known this family since before big brother Jensen was born, it’s been such a pleasure getting to know them all and watching the kids grow and seeing all of their personalities emerge!  Thank you Hamman Family for the opportunity to capture you and your family over the years, we always look forward to seeing you and can’t wait for the next adventure!

Most of the fall color is now gone and we are seeing colder weather in the forecast.  Even without a lot of color, our local woods are still gorgeous and a great place for family photos!  We spent a fun evening with the Huerta Family last weekend and had some wonderful entertainment from the young family members!  After lots of smiles and belly laughs, we even caught a great silhouette of everyone.  Thank you Huerta Family for joining and enjoying the beautiful weather last weekend!

Reegan & Paislee are three, how can that be?!  Seems like just yesterday we captured their first birthday!  With another beautiful, warm fall day we headed to a local park for some fun in the leaves and the girls did not disappoint with lots of smiles and giggles and the added fun of their bubble machine.  Another of our favorite families, it’s always great to have the Unverferth Family in front of our lens!  Happiest of birthdays Reegan & Paislee, we are looking forward to the next birthday and lots more fun in the leaves!

After a very rainy Saturday, the skies cleared and we were able to capture this great young man’s senior session!  Brad took us out into the woods and even though it was a little soggy, when golden hour peeked through the tree tops, the fall colors popped and it was a beautiful fall evening.  He is involved in band, cross county, and track and has had an outstanding cross country season so far with the track season looking bright as well.  It has been a pleasure to get to see this young man grow over the years and to capture special moments of him and his family.  Thank you Brad and family for a great evening and best of luck with the remainder of your senior year!

This year’s seniors have brought their A Game and Aaron was no exception this week!  After having to reschedule due to rain over the weekend, we had a beautiful evening.  This avid hunter and a young man with a passion for farming & FFA took us to a great wooded area, a local farm he works at, corn & bean fields where we had a friendly visitor, and even played us a little tune on the guitar.  We love all of our senior sessions and the unique ideas they have, but the farm and country ones tug a little on the heart strings with our family being involved in all of those things too!  Thank you Aaron and family for a wonderful evening and best of luck with the remainder of your senior year!

Our sessions with the Grooms Family are always full of belly laughs, falling objects, and great smiles.  We headed out to a local wooded area and found some beautiful colors and luckily very dry pathways after a previous day of rain.  These three area always up for something new and we know Mason will help us to bring all of our ideas to life!  It’s always fun to see where we will head each year, wonder where they will take us next year!

While our fall is full of many seniors, we have been able to sneak in a few family sessions as well!  One of the most wonderful things to capture are the family’s that you have known most of your life, and the Moser Family is one of those!  We headed out to a favorite spot of theirs, not too far from their home and the clouds and rain forced us back into our cars after just a few snaps.  With a short wait the sun came back out, the rain moved on, and we had a great time.  From sidesplitting laughter and the guys wanting a Yellowstone shot, it was a wonderful evening with a family very special to us!
