This handsome little man just happens to be my husband and I’s nephew!  He made his arrival on July 23 and we did his session at just eight days old; such a cute little personality already!   He did such a great job at his session, so laid back, sleepy, and a very sweet little smile!  No two sessions are ever the same, and his was no exception!  With his daddy being a fireman we got to incorporate that and his mommy’s love for the country!  And of course we can’t wait to get some more snuggles in!  Welcome Gavin Michael!

I love getting to catch up with a friend from school that I haven’t seen in so long!  I was so honored when Natalie contacted me to work on her and Aaron’s wedding invitations!  They went for a great elegant look with a purple and orange combination that is striking, captivates, and pulls you in!  There is no doubt that this is going to be a gorgeous wedding!  This last weekend we did their engagement session and I can’t wait to finalizing those images for them!  Keep an eye out for this gorgeous couple!

I love how every bride is different!  Their theme, colors, style, decorations, everything!  Brent and Christy decided to do a simple yet elegant look to their invitations on one side and add a bit more fun to the other!  These invites are them to a T!  Nothing more fun than a customized look for your big day!  We are now working on their wedding programs, so look for those in the coming weeks!  Looking forward to capturing their day for them in October!

I love getting to do special things for the 4-H program! I was thrilled to do an informal group picture for the group to help them put together their booth for the fair this coming August! Make sure you stop out to the Henry County Fair and check out what the kids are doing with the images from their session!

Ohio summers, you just never know what you’re going to get! We’ve had cold days, rainy and flooding days, comfortable days, and most recently hot and humid first thing in the morning days! This last saturday was humid, buggy, and just plain too warm, but with some gorgeous kids, fun adults, and a wonderful setting, it proved for a great morning session! Grandpa even had some great ideas for shots, and they turned out great! I love when family members can incorporate their ideas! And luckily the rain held off until after the session! Thank you Overmier Family for a great, fun filled Saturday morning!

It’s hard to believe that little Mila will be a year this month!  We did newborn pictures at six days old and a fantastic family shoot last fall!  Her smile is contagious, her laugh is adorable, and her personality is so much fun!  She loves her rocker and was such a big girl sitting in it.  She kept a close eye on Mo and made sure he got an extra little bit of lovin’ and was ready to take off as fast as her little legs could carry her!  It has been such an honor to capture her and her gorgeous family at the important stages of her life and I can’t wait for the next time!  Happy Birthday Mila!!!

A few years ago I was approached by an entrepreneur whom was looking to create movement cards for kids!  She had been turned away by many different graphic designers and companies, but I was beyond excited to create these wonderful learning cards for kids!  Since we started working together we have created two logo designs, t-shirt’s, business cards, DVD cases, and now a new 2015 edit to her cards!!!  It has been an honor to help her get her business off the ground and see how she has grown by leaps and bounds!  It’s always a joy to hear from her and to see what we will be creating next!  Check out these amazing cards and The ABC’s of Movement website!  Congrats on your success Laurie and for allowing me to be a part of it!

Some of you may remember Alexis from her newborn and six months sessions! She has grown so much and is on the move!  No sitting still for very long for this cutie! I love how poses can lead to lifestyle in the blink of an eye and we can capture little ones in their element!  This little ham absolutely loves the camera, cheesing it up quicker than I could hit the shutter button!  And those pearls, her mama had brought those for her six months session and she loved them then, I think she may just love them even more now; we had a vintage looking retro baby, and she was just gorgeous in her little pink chair!  From rockin’ the shades to lovin’ the bubbles and waving to herself in the mirror, Happy Birthday Alexis!

The Wiesehan Family decided to get a jump start on their Christmas planning!  What an excellent idea to get their Christmas cards done now and check them off their holiday to-do list!  Just after finishing their session and receiving their print, they were ready to put a custom holiday card together!  It’s wonderful to get to combine the photos from a session and then create graphics per the client’s ideas and specifications.  Who doesn’t love receiving a custom card during the holidays!  So full of warmth and love, what a great design for a wonderful family!

Brent & Christy are getting married this fall and I have the honor of getting to capture their special day!  We spent a buggy bit in the woods while dodging some rain drops!  Luckily the rain held off until we were done!  I always love when a couple starts out a bit shy and by the end of the session, they are ready and geared up to try anything.  Christy had been researching and scouting locations and found some great poses that she wanted to try for the two of them, it’s always fun to build a session around a couple’s idea and help bring their thoughts to life!  Thanks for a great afternoon, can’t wait for October!
