A little Fourth of July fun with fireworks and some stills while enjoying some rare downtime! My camera seems to go everywhere with me, whether I have a shoot or not! You never know when you will find that perfect photo spot! Fireworks are incredibly difficult to capture and they are always something that I had wanted to try and this year I was took full advantage of my free time and dslr, changed the settings, and came up with these fun shots! I love how the lights trail and blur to show motion and how some are crisp and clear as if frozen in time! Enjoy!

I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph this amazing musicians next promotional shots! We met up on a warm June evening a few hours before sunset and rocked out the evening until way past dark!!! Catching up, laughing, listening to her play, and just having a girls night, it was such a refreshing evening! Can’t beat it when your subject is up for anything and everything, and I think we did everything we could possibly think of!
Mollie Busta is widely known across the U.S. for her Polka talent: from singing, teaching, hosting, and playing a multitude of instruments to touring the country performing at more venues than I can remember. You can catch her on the Mollie B Polka party on RFD TV and check out her web page to find out where her next performances are going to be, you don’t want to miss an opportunity to see her perform! She will blow you away!
I met Mollie several years ago after she had just moved to our area and I knew that after that first meeting, she would be a wonderful friend!
She is kind, hilarious, genuine, and full of so much talent, you just can’t help but love her. She has more energy than anyone I have ever met, she loves to travel across the country and world, and I’m not sure that she can sit still for more than five minutes!
She has become a part of our family and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!

I’ve known little Alexis’ mom since I was young and it was an honor to get to meet her and capture these special moment for her parents! Alexis’ mom has a love for giraffe’s and elephants and I think that she is going to grow up loving them as well, check out her adorable giraffe jumper!
She was so sweet and content and ready to do anything her mom tried to do and dress her up in!
Alexis always seemed to want to hang the one foot over whatever we set her in and it was too cute to not photograph! Sound asleep and ready for anything, thanks for being such a trooper Alexis!
Congrats Nick, Laura, & Alexis!!!

I just recently finished up this fun logo design for a customer who was looking for a unique way to represent his new farming business, wanting something that was different yet combined with a look that represented him. After starting with the basics, he sent a picture of his truck and I inserted that to give him a look that pops! He then wanted to also embroider the logo, so I simplified it to make it fewer stitches and then created a left crest to match the front so that he could screen print. I love being able to get a customer up and running with their new business!

I’m very lucky to work in a community/county who takes great pride in their 4-H & Junior Fair Board programs! This year was creating a new look for JFB to embroider onto their shirts as well as creating a work shirt design. Each year the 4-H in our county puts on a Camp for 4-H age kids and a Camp for those not quite of age, called Cloverbud Camp. Every year the designs go in different directions, from me coming up with the look of the graphics, to the kids drawing it out and me getting to recreate from their drawing, this year 4-H Camp is the kids’ design and Clovebud Camp was mine. 4-H is a program that is very close to my heart, I was an 11 year member and and now a 10 year(and counting!) adviser of our club; our county has been blessed with an amazing 4-H educator whom knows each one of her past and present 4-Hers as well as she knows her on kids. She’s done more for our county than most people know and I owe her so much for always supporting me! 4-H is where I got my start in projects from photography to the arts and I couldn’t be more proud to bleed green! 😉
Our little community also has a GREAT little ice cream place that opens in the spring and is open as late as they can be in the fall! They came to me asking for some designs for koozies to help celebrate their 10 years in business and after some editing and design changes, these are what they came up with! And from what I can tell, they are flying off the shelves for them and I was so happy to have made this project a reality for them!

This adorable little guy was so much fun to photograph! On a very rainy and melancholy day, I got to spend some time with little Micah. At two weeks old and just over six pounds, he has already found his own little personality and rythm.
Though he was not happy that he was the center of attention, his Momma was quick to get him ready to shine! Turns out he was missing the sounds of big brother Lucas!
Once he found his comfy spot, his tiny fingers were ready to play ball with his Daddy and big brother!
Congrats Helberg Family!!!
