Last fall I got to capture this gorgeous couple for their engagement session, but long before that we started putting together their save the dates and invitations! We started with April’s ideas, made some edits, inserted images from their session, and finalized their layouts! They turned out beautifully and their big day will be here before we know it and I can’t wait to capture it for them!

Custom Christmas cards are one of my many favorite things to do! What makes them even more fun is when you get to add images from the year’s sessions! I love to get creative and give families a few different options, and sometimes they just can’t decide so opt to split the number they wanted between different layouts, and why not, makes it more unique and personal that way! These three gorgeous kids made the cards perfect, from their smiles and personalities, to their orneriness and kindness! Merry Christmas from SSRM & this gorgeous family!

As the leaves begin to fall and change with the cooling weather, families begin to think of the upcoming Christmas season! Everyone has unique ideas for what they want their cards to look like, from traditional and simple and elegant to modern and completely created by scratch. It’s fun to see the images families choose from their sessions to use with their layouts, what better way to spread the Holiday Spirit with their smiling faces! We did the Robertson session in the early fall while we still had green and Scooter, Bailey, & Elle enjoyed showing us their favorites spots in their trail! What a great shot to bring a little warmth to the coming cold days in Northwest Ohio!

This year has been wonderful, full of amazing photo sessions and graphics projects, more than I could have ever imagined! And there are so many more wonderful things left for this year! I don’t very often get to sit and create something for myself or even my family, but when I do it’s so much fun! Our little one will be arriving in mid November and we are now getting ready for our shower. I have done so many different and unique designs, that finding something that fit us was harder than I thought it would be! But I came across several different layouts and did a combination of what I saw and what I imagined! Just a couple of vintage farm kids anxiously awaiting November! An early thank you to everyone that is planning on joining us September 13!

Who doesn’t love a chance to get together with friends and family and celebrate a bride and groom?! Of course showers always look like it was a simple thing to plan, but when one breaks it down, there’s food, location, time, and even invitations to decide on. I love getting the call to create those ever special invites! Something that the bride can tuck into her scrapbook after the shower and look back on and remember that important day leading up to the wedding! What was even more fun creating these was that the bride is a friend of our family as is the bridesmaid helping to plan the shower! One of the most rewarding things a graphic designer can here is, “We love it, let’s go to print!” And that’s exactly what the planning committee said after only one layout! Congrats to Kayla & Zach as they em-barque on this new and import part of their lives!

I love getting to catch up with a friend from school that I haven’t seen in so long! I was so honored when Natalie contacted me to work on her and Aaron’s wedding invitations! They went for a great elegant look with a purple and orange combination that is striking, captivates, and pulls you in! There is no doubt that this is going to be a gorgeous wedding! This last weekend we did their engagement session and I can’t wait to finalizing those images for them! Keep an eye out for this gorgeous couple!

I love how every bride is different! Their theme, colors, style, decorations, everything! Brent and Christy decided to do a simple yet elegant look to their invitations on one side and add a bit more fun to the other! These invites are them to a T! Nothing more fun than a customized look for your big day! We are now working on their wedding programs, so look for those in the coming weeks! The Wiesehan Family decided to get a jump start on their Christmas planning! What an excellent idea to get their Christmas cards done now and check them off their holiday to-do list! Just after finishing their session and receiving their print, they were ready to put a custom holiday card together! It’s wonderful to get to combine the photos from a session and then create graphics per the client’s ideas and specifications. Who doesn’t love receiving a custom card during the holidays! So full of warmth and love, what a great design for a wonderful family!

Recently you saw Paige & Saul’s Save the Dates & Wedding Invites up on the blog, today you see their programs. These were so much fun to put together! 8×5″x11″ card stock folded in half for a four sided program gave plenty of room for everything they wanted to include about their special day. The graphic pictures doesn’t do the final product justice as they turned out absolutely gorgeous! We get to celebrate their wedding this weekend and a beautiful day I’m sure it will be! Congrats Paige & Saul!
