Babies grow so quickly that when it comes time to plan that first birthday, you want everything to be just right! I love creating custom invites, and 1st birthday ones might just be my favorite! This fall I have the honor of capturing this great couple’s wedding! We have just wrapped up invitations and table tents, with an engagement session up next! Melissa and Brian are having a quaint small wedding, followed by a larger reception, so they opted to do two different invitations. They also wanted to share with their reception guests whom was in their bridal party; for this we created a card that when folded in half created a tent with the bridal part on each side that they could set at their tables. A great and unique way to involve all of their guests! Congrats Melissa & Brian!

Seniors are so much fun, from their photo sessions to putting their graduation invitations together! It was exciting to see which pictures were Bekah’s favorites, the texted she wanted, and her ideas come to life! A beautiful young woman with a bright future, best of luck Bekah!!!

Custom Christmas cards are one of my many favorite things to do! What makes them even more fun is when you get to add images from the year’s sessions! I love to get creative and give families a few different options, and sometimes they just can’t decide so opt to split the number they wanted between different layouts, and why not, makes it more unique and personal that way! These three gorgeous kids made the cards perfect, from their smiles and personalities, to their orneriness and kindness! Merry Christmas from SSRM & this gorgeous family!

Who doesn’t love a chance to get together with friends and family and celebrate a bride and groom?! Of course showers always look like it was a simple thing to plan, but when one breaks it down, there’s food, location, time, and even invitations to decide on. I love getting the call to create those ever special invites! Something that the bride can tuck into her scrapbook after the shower and look back on and remember that important day leading up to the wedding! What was even more fun creating these was that the bride is a friend of our family as is the bridesmaid helping to plan the shower! One of the most rewarding things a graphic designer can here is, “We love it, let’s go to print!” And that’s exactly what the planning committee said after only one layout! Congrats to Kayla & Zach as they em-barque on this new and import part of their lives!

I love getting to catch up with a friend from school that I haven’t seen in so long! I was so honored when Natalie contacted me to work on her and Aaron’s wedding invitations! They went for a great elegant look with a purple and orange combination that is striking, captivates, and pulls you in! There is no doubt that this is going to be a gorgeous wedding! This last weekend we did their engagement session and I can’t wait to finalizing those images for them! Keep an eye out for this gorgeous couple!

I love how every bride is different! Their theme, colors, style, decorations, everything! Brent and Christy decided to do a simple yet elegant look to their invitations on one side and add a bit more fun to the other! These invites are them to a T! A few years ago I was approached by an entrepreneur whom was looking to create movement cards for kids! She had been turned away by many different graphic designers and companies, but I was beyond excited to create these wonderful learning cards for kids! Since we started working together we have created two logo designs, t-shirt’s, business cards, DVD cases, and now a new 2015 edit to her cards!!! It has been an honor to help her get her business off the ground and see how she has grown by leaps and bounds! It’s always a joy to hear from her and to see what we will be creating next!
