Christy & Brent’s wedding is quickly approaching and we just wrapped up their wedding programs! They are checking things off their list every week and one of the last things we have yet to do is plan their day of photos! October 24 will be here before we all know it and I am ready to capture their beautiful day!

This year has been wonderful, full of amazing photo sessions and graphics projects, more than I could have ever imagined! And there are so many more wonderful things left for this year! I don’t very often get to sit and create something for myself or even my family, but when I do it’s so much fun! Our little one will be arriving in mid November and we are now getting ready for our shower. I have done so many different and unique designs, that finding something that fit us was harder than I thought it would be! But I came across several different layouts and did a combination of what I saw and what I imagined! Just a couple of vintage farm kids anxiously awaiting November! An early thank you to everyone that is planning on joining us September 13!

Creating signage is so much fun! Signs can range from large digital prints, vehicle graphics, or real estate sized. I’m lucky enough to know the owner of B&P Painting personally and they are amazing! So when they were looking for a new sign there was no question the final product would look amazing! We did an 18×24 two sided digital print on 040 aluminum with a black frame, and it turned out spectacular! I can’t wait to see it proudly showing who is painting while I’m out driving! Thanks for a wonderful project B&P Painting!

Who doesn’t love a chance to get together with friends and family and celebrate a bride and groom?! Of course showers always look like it was a simple thing to plan, but when one breaks it down, there’s food, location, time, and even invitations to decide on. I love getting the call to create those ever special invites! Something that the bride can tuck into her scrapbook after the shower and look back on and remember that important day leading up to the wedding! What was even more fun creating these was that the bride is a friend of our family as is the bridesmaid helping to plan the shower! One of the most rewarding things a graphic designer can here is, “We love it, let’s go to print!” And that’s exactly what the planning committee said after only one layout! Congrats to Kayla & Zach as they em-barque on this new and import part of their lives!

I love getting to catch up with a friend from school that I haven’t seen in so long! I was so honored when Natalie contacted me to work on her and Aaron’s wedding invitations! They went for a great elegant look with a purple and orange combination that is striking, captivates, and pulls you in! There is no doubt that this is going to be a gorgeous wedding! This last weekend we did their engagement session and I can’t wait to finalizing those images for them! Keep an eye out for this gorgeous couple!

A few years ago I was approached by an entrepreneur whom was looking to create movement cards for kids! She had been turned away by many different graphic designers and companies, but I was beyond excited to create these wonderful learning cards for kids! Since we started working together we have created two logo designs, t-shirt’s, business cards, DVD cases, and now a new 2015 edit to her cards!!! It has been an honor to help her get her business off the ground and see how she has grown by leaps and bounds! It’s always a joy to hear from her and to see what we will be creating next! The Wiesehan Family decided to get a jump start on their Christmas planning! What an excellent idea to get their Christmas cards done now and check them off their holiday to-do list! Just after finishing their session and receiving their print, they were ready to put a custom holiday card together! It’s wonderful to get to combine the photos from a session and then create graphics per the client’s ideas and specifications. Who doesn’t love receiving a custom card during the holidays! So full of warmth and love, what a great design for a wonderful family!

It’s so much fun getting to work with a classmate and create something unique that embodies what their child loves with their whole heart! It was such fun working with my classmate to create these great softball t’s for her daughter’s softball team! She came to me with an idea and after sitting down together, bouncing some ideas off of each other, we came up with this final design! The girls are sure to look sharp taking the field with this great look, good luck ladies!

Each year brings fun new designs and projects, but I one group holds a very special place in my heart, our county 4-H program! The t’s we do vary from year to year, but without fail the counselors pick fun and unique themes! This year’s Cloverbud camp will be full of superheros and fun, sure to be a great time had by both counselors and campers! Be sure to check out your local Cloverbud program and enroll your kids today in a wonderful learning program!
