As summer is winding down and we start getting ready for hoodies, pumpkins, and fall colors, there is still so much summer beauty around us! I met up with the Quinones Family at a local woods where we found gorgeous greens and sweet little yellow flowers! It’s been a few years since we captured this adorable family and they did not disappoint! Mila helped me to pose her mom and dad and even got some fabulous smiles from them; we even caught a natural sun flare! It’s been an honor to watch this sweet family grow since photographing Mila as a newborn; thank you Pops, Jo, and Mila for a wonderful evening!

Senior sessions are some of my favorites. Every senior brings an individuality to their session in their locations, outfits, and props. We started planning Graicen’s senior session last fall and she knew that she wanted to do some in each season; what a great idea to capture your senior year as the seasons change! Last Friday we got together for her summer session and had a wonderful time finding unique spots at the local reservoir. Stay tuned for more of Graicen as the seasons change!

Kind hearted, genuine, and funny, these are just three of the words to describe this handsome guy! It has been such an honor to capture him over the years and watch him grow, I am officially looking up at him these days! Trey is a natural in front of the camera and we are constantly laughing during his sessions. I can’t wait to hear about all of the amazing things he accomplishes this school year!

Each year I look forward to this young man’s session! He grows so much in just one year and this year he is quickly catching up to me! Brok never ceases to amaze us with his antics at a session, from jumping into the unknown grasses to amazing us with his genuine smile and that laugh, you never know what’s around the corner. He’s sure to have a wonderful year at school, have a blast Brok!

How absolutely stunning is this girl!? Each year I wonder if Graicen will top her session from the previous year, and the answer every year is yes! Trying to narrow down sneaks and not show the hundreds that we took was no easy feat! No matter where we go or what we do, what season it is, or what the weather is doing, she knocks her sessions out of the park! This year we headed out to the woods and fields, trying to catch the last of the color on the trees before it fell with the upcoming weather! We had amazing light as golden hour approached and golden hour itself didn’t disappoint. I had a wonderful lighting assistant in her younger brother Trey, you saw his session a few weeks ago, who was on point all night, we couldn’t have done it without him! Next year is Graicen’s senior year, she has big plans already for what she wants to do, I can’t wait to pull her visions together! Have a great Junior Year Graicen!

Now that August is here, that means school is just around the corner and seniors are getting ready for their final year of high school! Last Saturday I spent the evening in our small town with Brock, an upcoming Archbold High School Senior! We found some great spots downtown and then took a short walked to his house and used their amazing old barn! Not only was it perfect, but I learned a little bit of our town’s history and Brock’s family’s history! As golden hour approached we took a quick drive to a local woods and took advantage of the warm summer evening, a great location, and a beautiful sunset! Thank you Brock and family for a fun evening and best of luck this coming year Brock!

I look forward to this young man’s session every year! He is sweet, caring, helpful, and funny! Every session with him is an adventure, deciding what place will we explore each year, and I am sure he will be taller than me! We headed to the Auglaize River this year and found some great spots to show off his amazing smile, and those freckles, I love them! With school just around the corner, spending the morning with Trey was a great way to start winding down July! Good luck this upcoming year Trey!

Kim & Phil are adorable together! I am so excited to get to capture their special day this coming September! We headed out to Kim’s home for their engagement session on a beautiful summer evening of gator rides and some pretty cute goats! Meeting new people is so much fun and I was excited to get a message from Kim, and was even more excited to find out that I knew some of her family and even her fiance! Engagement sessions are a great time to see how a couple interacts with one another and to find the perfect poses for them on their big day, it didn’t take long for Kim and Phil to find their rhythm in front of the camera, they were naturals! I’m looking forward to spending their day with them, congrats Kim & Phil!

It’s graduation season! Graduation invitations are one of my many favorite things to create! This is such a special time of year for seniors, the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one! Anastasia had a great idea in mind for you invitations and we put our heads together and came up with this great look, including poppy flowers as a tribute to someone very special in her life!!! What a wonderful session last Saturday to kick off the fall season! The leaves are beginning to change, however it’s been unseasonably hot and humid, weather that we would normally see in July and August! Despite the heat I spent a wonderful Saturday evening with Tyler & Olivia! We started out at a beautiful location in the country and then headed downtown to use the wonderful old brick buildings, all the while staying in the shade to keep cool. Now that fall is here, that also means football season, and we couldn’t do a fall session without including some shots in their favorite team colors! With so many wonderful images from the session, it was hard to find just a few sneak peeks to share. Thank you for a great evening, Congrats Tyler & Olivia!
